On a fresh install of my windows 7 home I got the error message thinking the server was no longer conected but After doing these steps I got updates (alot of updates ) glad I found this video ,thanks ,windows 7 will always be my favorite os.

To install the update mentioned in the video, I first had to install windows 7 sp1. Once I had both installed, windows update worked.
