Fix Windows Boot Issues
If you computer or laptop is having a start up problem and wont boot up at all, then fear not, its possible a system restore will solve the issue. I will show you how to fix a windows boot problems by using system restore from a Windows CD, Windows Recovery or MSDART.
I will be using Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset in this video to help repair your computer. Is a great to to help troubleshoot and fix these kinds of problems, whether its Malware infected or you having a start up issue due to a corrupt registry or a bad driver after install.
Remember this is just one option to fix your computer, if it does not work, your have to try something else.

Thanks for that Brian, I I have just configured system restore .. I never knew it came from Microsoft disabled.. that's crazy.....

I tried everything on my computer but nothing works I'm not sure if I missed something. Basically when I start up my computer it takes me directly to the blue screen with all the options to choose from

my windows 10 is in a start up loop...i can open in safe mode...i did a clean boot and it opens but not in a normal start up...it seems to hang in the start up...what can i do...i tried a sys restore but that did not work.

If I create Windows 10 install media using a computer that's different from the one that I actually install Windows 10 onto,will the install media that I created work for all computers that are compatible with that version of Windows 10

Good vid keep it up:) but I had a problem with my hard drive saying disc error when I went to do a fresh install of Windows 7 it did not pop up, do you think the hard drive is faulty?

Hi Brian, one of my SSD's keeps loosing it's drive letter every time I turn off my PC so every time I bootup I have to reset the drive letter and I can't boot from it because it does not have a drive letter. Any ideas how to fix this.

Hey britec, I recently built a new rig. changed mobo, cpu, but I kept the hard drive. I've been having troubles installing windows to my hard drive. Do you reccomened using dban to wipe the drive for a fresh install?

Sorry for the last posting. I need help in explaining how-to dual boot my Windows XP-Pro SP3 installed one hard drive. I have installed a second hard drive, not activated it. This is the hard drive I want to use for WINDOWS 7.1. This I need help instructing me how to get started with a dual-boot configuration. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Grandpa Bob

Thanks for telling us System Restore is turned off in Windows 10. I'm going to set up my Mum's Windows 10 computer so will ensure System Restore is switched on.

This happened to me when I was using Windows 8.1 (Hadn't done a system restore on Win10 yet) but every time I do a system restore, I get an error message with a 0x0xxxxxx code in it, but when I reboot it says System Restore completed sucessfully. I wonder if the OS was drunk when it does this?

Thanks brian :-D A lady from the sally army handed me her laptop, "it wont work" she said (Hmmm). later i took a look and it may have been windows 8, it booted up the recovery wim every time and never managed to fix the boot fault. I booted the machine into win pe using a flash drive, i found the reason for not booting, all the windows/program files/users directorys were gone!!, the drive was wiped. I suspect she tryed to upgrade 7 to 8 and something went badly wrong. Lucky the manufacturers image partition was untouched, i invoked it and the original o.s was imaged back to the drive. Have you ever seen this happen before brian?

+zx8401ztv Yeah its not good if a upgrade goes wrong, I seen it try a upgrade and then tried to roll back and fail, all data gone.

Wow...another reason to avoid win10. System restore is deactivated by default? That seems to me like pure malice...to trip people up... Could there possibly be a good reason for this?

About "Malwares" : Microsoft Released a Software Called "Malware-Bytes" Whitch Should Fix Any Malware Problem. About "BlueScreen Error" : That's a Result For Installing Wrong Drivers and Installing Softwares and Applications That U Know Nothing About . Any Other Error ?????

This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "system defender" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ginro Computify Fixer - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my brother in law got amazing results with it.
