Hey fam!
Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate you coming! Today I just wanted to answer one the most common questions I get. How to calm big crochet down.
So here's some tips and tricks for you. I apologize for the video being so long. But I wanted to be sure this video covered all kids of crochet hair, but all blends are NOT CREATED EQUAL!
So I hope you enjoy the video.

Shay I just want to say you a life saver. I installed the Rastafari Lake wave hair and it is beautiful but way to big and when my husband commented on how big my hair was I knew I was in trouble. But now watching your video I'm now feeling myself because it is BOMB!!! I'm so glad I found you many blessings to you.

It be like that sometimes. It all depends on the hair and the size of your own head. Always space out your install first, and then go back a fill it in as you desire.

Everyone is using 5 packs. Most people’s head is installed with too much hair and it looks obviously false. Use less packs of hair to start with. Then go thru and cut and trim more

Five packs in a general guideline. But it all depends on hair and the size of your own head. As a practice, its best to space out the install at first, and then go back and fill in as desired.

Thank you for this video. I did a crochet style on my daughters hair and it was just way too big. Since this was my first time, I didn’t know what to do without taking out some of the twist. You’ve given me some options to try.

I'm so glad I could help!!! When installing twist and braids, generally, placing them two finger widths apart during install is what I do. Then I go back and fill it in. Seems like a little more work to do it this way, but you have more control over the volume of the hair that way. Thanks so much for watching!

Yeah, its super easy and completely learnable. But use some of these methods to see if you can get it to calm. Let me know how it turns out for you sis.

Some hair settles over time. U may want to try the twisting method or something like that. If u want, send me some pics and videos and through IG and I may be able to give u a few suggestions.

I just got mine done for the first time and she used all 6 packs of beach curl hair. Talk about mad! I’ve never had crochets so I didn’t know it would be too much. Thank goodness for this video!! Next time, I’ll do my own install.
