@@ThinkFrugal I have MXQ Pro 5g 4k android. It came with Android11.1 4gb 32gb which I am sure are fake specifications. It was extremely slow and the internal storage setting was greyed meaning that you could not open to explore it. Upon opening the case, I found out that it has an MXQPRO_V73 2021-06-19 board and an RK3128H processor under the heat sink. However, the CPUX app showed it has rk3066 and the recovery menu indicates it comes with RK322X. I can only connect it to the computer in maskrom mode and most of the RK3229 firmwares( loader v2.37) flash successfully but won't boot( including the one that you have provided in the link above).Do you have a solution for this problem?Thank you.

thank you! the firmware upgrade worked. HOWEVER, when the video plays, there is a screeching noise and then the box either freezes, or restarts. would others have the same problem?

hey bro, I just opened my tv box and found out that is the RK3228A, almost the same as yours. The only difference is the color of the board xd. But I can not do a backup with your other video. The CMD throw me an error about the copy of the Kernel.img. Any help? Thank you for the video btw, I would like to do it, once I backed up my device.

I was hoping to follow your guide. But unfortunately I purchased one cheap off ebay. Listing was exactly as yours but the Device info showed. Rockchip rk3128 and wifi as Rk915. Also it was listed as 8Gb but in the memory section it shows 2Gb. I contacted the seller before I received it. To inquire about how the USB ports were white. And ever one I have seen was black. Of course they didn't respond to my message until the day the item was delivered 😔

pano nyo po napagana yung wifi? hindi kasi nag aappear wifi sakin , same rom sa video ang ginamit ko, ok naman sya, kaso walang nade detect na wifi. ang rom at wifi ko ay same sa inyo

Hello, paano nyo pi napagana? Gagana lang yung internet sa akin after reflash ng firmware pero kapag nirestart or nireset ko na yung device. Ayaw na mag connect.

Hello friend. I got one projector with rockchip rk3128 processor and rtl8727ds wifi driver. The projector was lost anyway, so I wanted to try this rom change ... I found one compatible firmware and connected the projetor to my PC using the USB Male to Male cable ... I managed to flash the new firmware to the projector without errors, but when I plug the energy cable to the projector it starts and turn off right a way ... no Image, no response ... Did I just brick my projector ?

HI, I just watched your videos and thanks for your elaborate explanations to intall a new firmware.but my problem is different,my h96 max 4k ultra hd tv box running android 9.0 and after using for sometime my wifi,bluetooth and usb storage access are gone as i couldn't execute anyof them,when i try to update with their latest rom version 11 or 12,its getting struck with the error message'prepare idb fail'' and i don;t know how i could overcome this despite my extensive search in the internet, can you help me

bro. i already installed the apps device info HW but can't open..do u have any suggestion ..coz In the MBOX there are some problems such as the wifi connection often disconnects by itself and some applications cannot be opened because the time and date are not correct, I tried to fix it but it can't be done automatically. the maximum date is only in 1993 while we are in 2023. really sad.

Device not found or load on RKdev tool. If plug power cable then it shows found one loader device. Why not found on RKdev tool via hdmi with male to male cable

hi thanks for doing this tutorial. So far into and pinaka help full sa lahat ng sinundan ko to fix my mxq pro. natpos ko yung pag install ng firmware 100% sa pc kaso after ko bunutin sa pc, nag lu-loop lang sya sa "smartv then android logo" ulit ulit. is that part of the process?

Sometimes, that happens to a few android box. Simply refer to this video, and please follow method 4: thinkfrugal.page.link/androidboxreset . Pero instead of selecting "wipe data/factory reset", pakiselect yung "reboot system now". Your device will begin the booting process, usually around 5-10mins. medyo may katagalan.

is there any other download link for the firmware? when i try to download it it stop at 63% and and when i reload it go back to 40% til finish but it cannot be extracted afterwards edit i actually managed to extract it but when i start updating and click upgrade it stop on check chip failed please help. Hi have a great day! I have the MXQ RK3229 and the ESP8089. The reset button does not enter recovery mode and does not allow the use of a USB burning tool. However, the computer does not identify the TV box since the reset button is not functioning properly. When I plug in and hold the reset button, the TV box lights up blue, but nothing happens on the computer. When I plug in to the television, no signal appears. Is it possible that the operating system has been lost? What should I do? Please I need help.
