Thank you!!!! These videos are soooo helpful. Washer and dryer are going on 12 years now and running strong after about 80 bucks in parts and some elbow grease. Our messy family of 4 appreciates the cost savings dearly!!!

Thank you for video, mine just broke down. The noise was so bad. Got a new bearing ,O-ring and also replaced the front bearing. All for $46USD and some elbow grease. My arms were too big to get underneath. I ended up taking off the side panel mostly to get to belt. Had to put side panel back on the back side because the drum was pushing the back away as I tried putting it back in. After drum was in I propped it up good, I re-loosened the side again to get the belt on pully and motor. A little trouble shooting but I got success and saved me from purchasing a new dryer.

All of these videos on dryer noise repair are the same - they do NOT address EXACTLY what the rear bearing should look like. How do you know the bearing is bad if it hardly shows any wear? How much wear is too much? I bought a rear bearing kit that was supposed to be OEM and the dryer now is noisier than it was before. The "OEM" bearing in the kit is not as long as the original one, allowing the drum to scrape on the little metal brackets that hold the heating elements. I'm going to install a spacer washer under the bearing to push it further to the rear, hopefully pushing the drum more to the front of the dryer where it won't scrape on the heating elements support brackets. Other than not examining the old bearing and commenting on what was wrong with it the video is very helpful as far as taking the dryer apart.

Yeah it's a total piece of crap. Been working on older washer driers for a long time. Kept one from the 90s going until i got this one. Thankfully I kept it and all it needs it a 2$ part. After replacing front and rear bearings belt and tensioner I feel like I'm gonna be clinching everyday until these plastic bs parts wear out again. Modern GE as well as just about everybody else is straight 💩
