Just curious why u choose them over rage? I shoot rage altho i had considered shwacker (mostly cause of Ted Nugent) but I wasnt always getting pass throughs so that being in my head I went with the read deploying blades only cause I wanted a huge entrance should I not get a good exit. Whats the entrance hole like on them shwacker? And now since I got a 500 gr total setup with 125 tips tho I shouldn't have to worry bout not getting an exit lol. I was down like 385 at the time with 100 gr tips n realize the error of my ways now.

I shot the old rages when they first came out and they were junk. Blades were coming open mid flight it was a known issue. Tried the new ones and still didn’t like that. I like the swhacker because it’s almost guaranteed to open. Even if it doesn’t you still get a 1/2 hole. The entry holes are decent and the exits are massive. It honestly doesn’t matter what head you use it’s all about shot placement

I have used these on 9 deer with a xcalibur crossbow all died less than 100 yards never broke a blade however I have bent 2 ferrules and bent 3 blades but they work awesome.ive recently went back to a compound bow with buzzcuts but now my wife will run the xbow with shwackers.great Broadheads

@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors They have been a member of my arsenal for atleast 5 years I want to say. I have tried Rage, Jack Hammers, Spitfires but the Shwacker has out done them all and for the price how could you even argue the fact?

I shoot Swhackers too. Great broadheads! I don't think I will ever shoot anything else. All the deer l have shot with them have expired within 75 yards.

For fixed blade, never had an issue and always done the job G5. Montec. 100gr Everything is shooters choice, comfort and confidence.

100 percent agree. I shot fixed for 10 years works great. Thanks for the comment 👊

I liked the montec but they whistled in flight. I didn't like that .

I actually made the switch to fixed and like them a lot more. I do a lot of ground stalking though where a mechanical opens up easier getting snagged on weeds n such.

Great video bud ur absolutely right bad placement loses more deer than broadheads
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
That’s a fact right there. Thanks 👊

Even if the swackers didn't open you still get a 1 inch cut. They fly really well also

@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Thanks jerry. I was never actually a fan of the spit fires. I don’t like how they open. I have not tried them but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Any broadhead will kill a deer if hit properly. I like how the swhacker opens is mainly why I use them.

I have the ravin r26/400fps.. what would be a good broadhead and what grain?

Swhacker makes one for a cross bow. I believe they are 125 grain.

the bow itself is a mechanical object and it can fail too, also

Capt. Shaffer very true. Anything with moving parts. Just like a safety on a gun. Mechanical Device that can fail.
