You nailed it exactly the dpf pressure censor makes you think you have glow plug and regeneration problems but change the dpf pressure censor and then you can clear the rest exactly my problem but beware of buying cheap dpf pressure censor as I've had 3 and still had the problem till I bought a oem part thank you😮

Exactly whats happening to My 1.6tdi Polo 34,000 From 2012 1 owner b4 me and It;s stuck in Limp, 1st the DPF light came on so filled up with fuel and RAN it up/down motorway and it cleared the Light, Then Both the DPF/Glow Plug lights came on and LIMP MODE, So bn watching a few of these vids Because changing the EGR is a right Pain on these Polos. Thanks For sharing, If you were in South Wales you;d have a customer.

Do you use the bluetooth obd reader with the autel or use the wire setup ? Going thru this exact issue right now with my 2012 golf. The scanner shows the the dpf filter is still good was able to get it out of limp mode but the glow light starts flashing again after a short drive

Very important to adapt the new Dpf Pressure sensor only 3 out of 15 garages that I called to adapt it said YES the rest of 12 Garages said no need !!

I experienced limp mode in my VW Caddy 1.9 TDI. I had 3 codes to do with EGR and Oil Level Sensor. I reset the codes and kept driving, lol

My VWT5 went into limp mode with Engine management light coming on..it would disappear and then return..the problem was the ERV..Exhaust Regulator Valve which needed to be replaced..originally thought it was sensors but wasn’t

Seat Ibiza, 2009, Diesel, 27000 miles, CAYD engine, 3 faults one after the other, glow light flashing, engine management light on, brake pedal pressure reduced, changed Pressure Solenoid, brakes now hard, lights still on, fault EGR P040700, used an EGR spray cleaner several times, some positive improvement, now another fault P256300, Turbo Boost control Sensor. Replaced original Solenoid, brakes hard, faults still there, so not the Solenoid. Note have 2 new solenoids which i have fitted as a trial. NB Cleared the faults with the EGR spray, drove at max legal then DPF filter back on, but had driven the car that morning to make sure regeneration was implemented. Any thoughts? all ideas considered. The EGR on this engine looks different to the CAYC engine?

My seat Ibiza got a bit same problem , 3 lights turned on , first glow plug blinking then I drove a lot to get it solved then , then silencer sign light n engine light went on .... My car is still in warranty , I m unable to find any earlier appointment need a local garage in Wolverhampton , any recommendations would be appreciated

Hello I am a truck mechanic engine light is on on my volkswagen i have changed the dpf and i deleted the wrong codes plus i did twice regeneration with computer for 80 min but it is on pedestrian it's like that during the test drive the light disappears but it lights up again after 15 min I'm tired of this

what if i add DPF cleaner in fuel tank when the glow plug light is blinking along with the DPF warning, and if I go on motor way will it get fix by driving or do I have to go to a garage to get the code ?removed, I just drove for 30 mins without any DPF cleaner but the car is still in limp mode

@@draganku I went to local garage guy to remove the warning with a OBD2 machine and once the working codes are reset, I used the DFF cleaner with direct into the DPF near engine and sprayed it and drove on low gear until the blinking lights went off and also the DFP light went out

I have passat b7 cffb and had egr problem with engine management light so got it deleted now the dpf is on with coil and eml all together had regen done twice but keeps coming back on any ideas please help as I've spent another £240 just for regen on computer

No need to replace any sensors. Once dpf light come's on you will have to run the car at 2500rpm for around 10/20 minutes continuously. This will turn the light off. If ignored the the limp mode is then activated. Once in limp mode you will need to reset the codes via computer and run the car at 2500rpm as explained above to turn off the dpf light. This has been tried and tested on my vw many times but is only a temporary fix as it depends on what sort of mileage you do. Mine used to come on every 3 day's. The one and only solution to this is to get the dpf removed and remap (costs around £300). No more dpf lights and burning unnecessary fuel. Hope this helps someone.

Hi guys. My Golf 1.6tdi is doing the same thing or should I say is showing the same errors/lights as the car in the video. I’ve scanned it for codes and it’s coming up with just the values of the dpf,-9.35 hpa and the soot content is near enough 40%. I’ve replaced the differential pressure sensor and reset the values with no effect. It’s still in limp mode and the glow plug light is still on. Any more info on sorting this issue out please,thanks.

I have same lights on my seat ibiza 1.2d tdi . I was in garage, they saying too me i have EGR problems and needed clean DPF . Just changed EGR , but still have glow plug , engine lights and dpf light on :(

Same here on my Seat Altea 1.9 tdi. Garage replaced the egr valve and reset all 3 lights. Within 60 miles or so I had the dpf light back on followed by the coil light. On next start up the engine management light joined in! Garage say they've run out of ideas! So I'm back to you tube!!
