Black wallpaper and colourfull wallpaper will only effect battery if the display is amoled in amoled if you use black wallpaper or dark wallpaper then it will drain less battery in lcd no matter which wallpaper you use light or dark

Nope it matters, Example as high brightness drains battery faster because the light consumes battery similarly dark colours use less light and save energy lcd uses less light and amoled turn off pixels that's why amoled saves more but it will also save on lcd

Another tip - don't play games on battery saver option. Really helpful it will reduce heat and make device smooth. And also I was a gamer since 3 years in appearance of gaming play in cool place like in front of a cooler .😁😁😄😄
