Fitted all my Cranks to the GIAWASA Build to see which looked the best.
Thus, I had to reinstall my Dura Ace 7500s onto the Level Frameset.
Thank you to my brother and dear friend for always supplying us with such great music. Please show him some love.

Should never use grease on the tapers, especially that much- Cranks should fit dry. Also the lock pin on the chain is facing the wrong direction, the closed end should always be facing fwd, chain directional. Nice cranks the 7500👍

Haha this topic of grease is a hard one for me because of my experience with cranks not coming off. I know that I tend to over do it, but my subconscious can't stand a crank getting stuck to the BB.

Thanks for the tip about the lock pin. There I am clueless as I usually buy cheap ones. This is my first Izumi Chain

@@BicyclesbyJurgenIt's extremely rare for cranks to bind to a taper, unless they've sat out in the rain excessively or such. I don't see you treating your bikes like that, so there's no real problem with a dry taper. Greased tapers (as you probably know) can cause the cranks to bind too far onto the interface, causing splits, incorrect seating position...and coming loose. Yes I understand, in our heads, we want to grease something! that's what we're taught.

@@vanwilder1101 this is my favourite crankset of all. To be fair I don't notice a difference and I do switch bikes regularly. I just love the aesthetics of it. For me, the biggest difference in feeling comes from having the right BB Axel length and having a clean chain line
