Errors :
GTA 5 - GTAVLauncher.exe - Application Error - The application was unable to start correctly ( (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. | GTAVLauncher.exe - Application Error
DirectX install or Update Error - [A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid. ]
Total three steps you need to follow to fix issue :
1- Install or Update .Net Framework , if already have kindly ignore
2- Install or Update Visual C++ Redistributable Packages.
3- Install or Update DirectX software. If you get an error while installing DirectX , Kindly follow Below Steps :
A - Enable Cryptographic Services as mentioned in the video kindly follow steps as shown in video.
B - Enter following commands one by one and hit Enter , then see if problem resolves :
regsvr32 /u softpub.dll
regsvr32 /u wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /u initpki.dll
regsvr32 /u dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /u rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /u gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /u slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u mssip32.dll
regsvr32 /u cryptdlg.dll
C - If Error is still there , Kindly download the DirectX from above in Link Section.

Whatever u do, don't unasign the DLLs, they're related to game engines or something and all games won't probably work unless u assign them again

bro you are right , but this DLL is only specific to Steam version hence it works.

If it's not working for you, and you're on windows pro n or someting similar, you need to install media featuring pack, since it doesnt work from the normal installer, go to windows 10 app list (app and features), optional features and search for media featuring pack, this should probably work

@@rijanregmi842 ok follow below steps : 1) uninstall game completely. 2) restart your system. 3) turn off your antivirus completely. 4) install fresh gta 5 game. 5) run gta 5 see if it is working. 6) if it is not working then follow all the steps shown in the video.. make sure when you are following all the steps please turn off antivirus. uninstall gta 5 compeletely , restart your system , disable all kind of anti virus , again install gta 5 and if you get an error then follow all the steps shown in video.. note : if you dont know how to disable antivirus kindly watch this kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sMCnarmfyM6oc6s.html , it is for windows 10.
