Paintless Dent Removal is a method of removing minor dings and dents from the vehicle bodywork without the need for filler and paintwork. This is a highly skilled process in which the dent is massaged from the rear of the panel or sometimes from the front using glue pulling methods.

Infamous EJ Yea I agree there are so many disciplines you have to master when doing stuff like this. They can give out all the trade secrets they like because there is no shortcut to things like this . This video doesn’t tell show you the part where half way in you do your repair and then sand through the clear coat after all that hard work. 😂. As I said there’s no substitute to doing something and messing it . That’s how we learn from mistakes.

hmm glue pulling seems like a trade secret to me, i've never heard of it before , the only stuff i knew was using glass handling suction cups to pull bigger dents, and i used that to "fix" a dent in the back left door of my car, it's still quite visible but at least ppl don't notice it until i mention it .

Absolutely amazing! It‘s 4 o‘clock in the morning and I watch 3 dents in the tailgate of somebody elses car disappear. Good work. Edit: and 3 days later I have tried this on my BMW Z3! One of the previous owners had something in the trunk and closed the lid on a part sticking up. So there was a 2 x 3 cm area sticking up about 3 mm. I used a stick made out of a white Ikea Nylon cutting board that I shaped into a point. I used my wooden mallet to tap that and lo and behold: following what he has shown in this video I completely evened my tailgate out! I had goosepimples when that nasty dent was gone! Sometimes watching a video at 4 o‘clock in the morning can have unforeseen results! Thank you for the inspiration!

As always Jake, I am so impressed with your videos. I know you go to a lot of work to make these, and it is evident. I do like your teaching segment, and as someone who enjoys watching experts at work, I like knowing some of the theory behind the practice.

Thanks George for the positive feedback, I should also do a section at the end where I show the 100 takes where I get my words messed up too! 🤣

I have been in auto industry for many years 30 years to be exact and worked with many dent removal people, they would give up or refuse to fix the dents you fix or if they do them, the job will be so ugly, you have to do body work. It happened many times, very frustrating and they expect pay. Your work is great and I wished I had access to you and pay what you are worth. You are truly an artist in your profession. Too bad I am in the states.
