(FIXED) Moisture Detected in Samsung Galaxy S/Note Phone USB Port Not Charging Problem By Pass

Experienced this problem recently in my Samsung Galaxy Note FE phone.
Accidentally spilled some water and this prevented me from charging my phone.
I tried everything from using cotton buds, tissues, and letting the phone dry for a whole day but it still won't let me charge it.
So I decided to try this and luckily this worked!
⚠️Please only try this when both the Phone and Charger's USB ports are completely dry!⚠️

This is one of the few videos in regard to this issue that actually offers practical and useful advice. I ve been having this problem the last ten days or so with an A33 I bought back in mid October 2022. Phone is great, especially the camera, but that moisture icon is annoying af. Followed the steps in this video and now phone is charging. The moisture icon turns off by itself, but can take hours, so this video was very helpful.

How long does this water icon remains. Does it remove automatically?? How many hours it takes. My phone is dry and non moist ???

It depends on how wet was your phone. It can take more than a days if it is really wet. I suggest you put it in front of electric fan to hasten the drying.

@Acoustic Hive my phone showed 💧 icon last night. I TRIED TO RESTART, but no result, then I waited for 3 hours , turned off my phone, and used spirit to clean my port. And why I turned my phone on. It worked. Actually, I watched a video of a guy using alcohol. But I only have spirit, so I used that, and it worked. I have mentioned all this extensively that someone will get out of this problem after reading my comment.

Thank you! Worked for my s21. Although I plugged in after restart, it made the annoying noise, I took the charger out, put it back in and worked just fine! You would think Samsang would fix this issue

@@xornor6244 i think I ended up letting the phone run dead and when I charged it then it was fine. Last two Samsung phones I've had did it and each phone has some stupid little solution to he past it

Bro you're a lifesaver. My phone was on like 7% and wouldn't charge,and it's too late in the evening to buy a wireless charger. I did both steps in order jic, but the 3rd method definitely worked.. thanks!!

All i did was try to tickle out any debris in the port with a toothbrush and then used canned keyboard air to blow out what ever if anything out. Charges correctly now.

I am in school and i do jave some imp school contacts, i was in panic attack when I saw this message, also it had only 5 percentage charging..i saw this video and then magic happened..it really turned out working. Thanks. I never dropped my phone in any water and the moisture problem suddenly popped up one day. This is the sequence that corrected the problem for my Note 20U. I've had the problem for about 6 months and tried just about every video out there then saw this one. Much appreciated! I've ordered some USB-C plugs and will keep them on whenever I'm not charging it. Hopefully this prevents the issue from repeating.

I also have the same problem from past 2 months , i visited service centre 3 times whenever the notification pops up , and they just put my phone on heating machine , and it got the same problem tommorow and i just put it in front of hair dryer and it worked , it happened twice today and i do the same thing ,

Just got my charging port replace coz it wasn’t detecting my cable charger. Tried different cables and everything. With the new port. It worked momentarily then it keeps telling me that moisture has been detected. So I end up buying a wireless charging pod. Good thing it’s only $10😀 Getting frustrated already I started looking again for Videos here in youtube for solutions. Then I ran in to your video. Thanks 🙏

THANK YOU!!! It fixed my issue after a month of dealing with not being able to charge my phone without a wireless charger. The key to success is when you power off allow 5 mins before trying to charge your phone.
