HP Laptop has no display on the screen.
HP Laptop is not turning on.
I'm getting three long beeps and two short beeps on capslock keyboard.
HP Website indicates this could be memory issue.
You may try replacement the RAM / memory to see if you are able to get display back on the screen.
Issue: No Display
3 long beeps 2 short beeps
3 long flashes 2 short flashes Capslock light

Thank you! I took the Ram out and clean the Ram's terminals with a micro cloth that would be used to clean eye glasses. I went over the terminals three times on both sides, reinstalled it, and it worked.

I've opened my PC computer and disconnected my RAMs and cleaned their slots with air then reconnected them. It's working nicely. Thank you so much UberGeeks for this amazing guide. Blesses from 2022's last few days

Thank you. My memory was bad. Replacing the memory fixed the issue with the beeping. This happened after a Bios update.

I've recently bought new RAM sticks for my pc, but when i try to put them in, i have to manually click them unlike the original ones i've always used. Now when i try to use any of them, neither works no matter what, i tried cleaning up both ram sticks and ram slots, yet still the same problem. Any tips or ideas how to deal with that?

I don't know if you'll see this. My 8GB RAM came installed in the secondary slot. After a while, any slight bang on the back cover made the laptop freeze until I force shutdown and reboot. I switched it to the primary slot and the issue was fixed. Today, the laptop just turned on the keyboard backlight for 2 seconds then turned off, repeatedly. No beeping. I tried 2 4GB RAM sticks I had, which instead caused beeping, that is the 5 beeps. Now my question is, what could be the issue? Hoping for a reply.

Had two sticks of Ram. One looked to have a sticker defect- 3 of the same sticker in one spot, but off center from one another. I took the stickers off, popped both RAM back in, and it worked! Took 10 minutes and was free. Thank you for this video!

Hp pavillion 15 aw054sa. The kids pushed the screen back to far, and the hinges cracked the corner plastics now, if the screen is in the correct position the laptop will run, but if you move ore touch the laptop it will Instantly turn off. What should i be looking for once i open it up, and what cpuld be damaged?

Your hinge obviously.Maybe that crack are interfering with your laptop display cable.

Hello ! I just had 2 times this problem in the few last days... and I tried to open my "tower" PC and pulled each RAM one after the other ; on the 3rd it stopped beeping so I thought to test if it was the ram on it or the slot that was the problem.. he stopped beeping after I changed the ram on it. So I put all the other ones back. And it stopped beeping, I don't know why exactly but seems like a RAM didn't like to be on one of the slots ? I would appreciate your help really.. because my computer is kind of my life (work, etc) 🥲 Do you think still one of them is dead ? Should I have done more tests for each ram ? But I don't really know exactly how.. only by shutting down the PC and starting it again to see if it beeps... Thanks alot 🥹

I have "I bought a new screen, the one I had was damaged, I replaced it, the memories are fine it stays black, but if I connect via HDMI it gives normal video if I disconnect I only have a black screen.

In my case, i didn't put in new ram in other slot all the way in, so all i had to do was pop it out and the place it back in all the way in you can tell if ram isn't set properly if prongs aren't parallel to body of ram, also make sure none of the contacts are dirty

Then it is not the RAM issue. Maybe motherboard is bad. Have you tried using one ram at a time ?
