Facing slow incoming water flow to your washing machine? Do you know that there's a filter the washing machine where need to be cleaned regularly?
Here will show you how to do the cleaning or maybe replace the inlet valve if needed.

Informative video, thank you. Just to share something which I discovered. The water inlet at the faucet contains a filter pre installed by HDB when I first shifted in. Never realised that the pre filter was so clogged that water was just literally trickling in. I only discovered it when I replaced the faucet tap head.

Ah worked for our machine! Mine had a second sieve thing inside after this plug that had algae too, so what i did was pour hot water unto a tissue and twisted it in until the tissue couldnt pick up anything anymore. Dad was about to replace the entire part outright. Thanks for the video!

The water flow increased but water started leaking from the inlet point, where the filter is

You need to apply PTFE joint sealant tape on the pipe.

Can a slow supply of water cause water leakage below the washing machine??tnx a lot

I doubt so, if slow supply you can't even fill any water. You may want to get a specialize to check your washing machine

Not really, you need to check your washing machine model to get the correct water inlet valve/pump

@@imjoshuawong thanks, what i did was removed the inlet filter and the inlet valve and soaked them in vinegar for about an hour and rinsed them thorougly. Worked like a charm! Water is back to normal for my washing machine!

Bro I have Bosch’s 8 kg 1400 rpm front loading washing machine..I’m getting tap symbol on led indicator inspite of having pressure pump..can it be used for flowing the water normally??

I'm not too sure on that, you can try to clean the water pump and see whether it would improve the water flow
