I'm so glad I'm not as indecisive as you! You've even made me doubt my self haha I've just brought the clear corregated roofing to try and convert my garage to a bit of a grow area. Cheap as chips!

Use the pond liner for a fish pond. I love watching the fish and frogs dart around the water lilies in mine. My garden shed has a metal roof and it is so relaxing sitting inside listening to the rain hit the roof - brings back so many childhood memories.

Come on Tony I just had my 7ftx5ft she'd reflected with the latest felt that is uv protected and rip proof They took off the old felt and fitted the new It took them just under an hour I was on the allotment when they did it No bubbles no creases good job done and a 5 year guarantee £120 all done No climbing ladders or struggling on my own Sorted

1Litre Roofing felt adhesive is a fiver at toolstation, much cheaper than wickes or B and Q AND external tubes of external sealant (tubes) for windows etc is only Two quid..(handy to know!).

Mick I only use toolstation for most of me stuff it's good stuff and like you said far better prices for instance boxs of screws only a couple of quid think on the smaller sizes you get 200 in a box.

felted loads of roofs over the years never had an issue with leaking use felt nails does the job great vidoes bud

Tony the bitumen roof sheets are brilliant,I have them on my racing pigeon lofts I put them on in 2002 and there still going strong without any leaks,they had a 20 year garentee with them,when I got them they were 7 pound a sheet I seen they were 13 pound on your vid,I still think they are a great buy at that price,you have to buy the special nails for them with the caps on though,hope this helps you decide...paddy.

Great vid Tony that bitumen is good stuff but goes everywhere them roof sheets look good you should be able to buy a foam which is scolp to push in the ends

I used nailed on felt. No adhesive. Original lasted 20 years. Now in year 5

Ironically I used the same stuff on a flat roof an my sisters shed. I still Used nails as well where you said AND along the overlapping joins. It took days to get all the “adhesive” off my hands. I used sugar and white spirits in the end.

Not a big fan of cutting plastic with a flat bit, moved to diamond cutters. I feel your pain re the shed roof. I,ve got a bit of tarp some bitumen, some plastic some wood, some mastic and some flashing on the top of mine , oh and a solar panel. And it is only 8 x 6ft. Next year a new roof, I keep telling my self

Corrugated panels screwed in with spacers would have be better. You’ll never have to worry again. But this should hold it’s only a shed you can always go over it with shingles or panels

That felt addesive a bit expensive int it I got mine from MKM builders merchants £15. Mind I'm tite me dont like spending more than I have to. I'd put some barons down the side. Grate job I no it's hard to do it on your by yourself.👍

You’ve confused me Tony oh boy, I thought the leaks were coming through around the edges of the glass, so I thought you was going to cover the whole roof including over the top of the glass to make it water tight? Hopefully now though with what you’ve done fixes the issue. Are you able to return the pond liner for a refund? You could have used DPM as a cheaper alternative to pond liner and achieved the same result 🤪🤪🤪 All the best G&B

I covered all my sheds in Black builders Visqueen battened down with slating laths been on years mate far cheaper
