Looking good! 99% of people who've actually had their hands on one seem to love it. The vast majority of naysayers haven't laid a finger on one and dismiss it out of brand snobbery.

The only thing making me reluctant about getting the Aluminium chassis is protection from water/mud/gravel etc. On the plastic chassis, it comes up at the sides, and encloses the inner components, but on the aluminium one it’s flat. Have you found this to be a problem?

Need more videos on this car, there not many and be careful with the wheel hubs. I bent mine, they dont sell them yet and the carnage one are a few millimeters too small. Had to straighten out the bent one.

Broke my zorro on its first outing, on soft grass. It snapped the right front steering arm/bearing hub. Ordered aluminium replacements.😁

added a skid plate , but when landing a small jump on tarmac it snapped the front chassis plate . I got a metal chassis , and metal front plate , the chassis had an open hole where the rear diff was so i sent it back. I have chewed up a driveshaft bearing , and multiple shellfixes . Your chassis plate seems to not have a square hole where the diff is , no idea what i was sent then ! I have homemade metal bodymounts now (and the clips go in sideways , much easier)

Hi. Just found your channel though the racing with RC Kicks, KT, etc. I've got both the brushed, and brushless chassis cars, and they're both great fun. The aluminium plate chassis looks brilliant, but it does look like it gives no protection from all the crud thrown up from the wheels (fronts especially!!). It's as shame no one makes a guard, similar to what the Arrma Senton has, to stop some of the dirt just coming straight into the car. I do use the nylon covers, but with no sides to the chassis plate, there doesn't seem to be anywhere to stick the velcro to? As and when I break stuff on mine, I will consider the metal parts, but with the stupidly high kv motor mines running at the moment, I don't think that'll be long!! 😆👍🏻

Very nice upgrade and equally cool presentation. I like the fact that you keep having fun with the car and keep posting new info about it. I own this and am waiting for a replacement for my ESC since it was dead on arrival :( So, as u can imagine I am preety eager to test it on the track as well and crosscheck with your positive comments. Its good to have this video for when I upgrade. I have a quick question: Do you think it can handle a 3S safely out of the box or do I need to upgrade the motor fun before I plug one in? Thanks mate

Now you've replaced that front chassis section, it might be worth using bolts and nuts to secure the front flexible bumper section. I've found that an impact will flex the bumper and just pull those countersunk M3 screws straight through the plastic threads in the bumper. Looking forward to hearing about any performance changes after fitting the ali parts.

I brought a bigger battery bashing 5500 3s i think and it is much faster, a dual fan for the motor. But my ESC caught fire, so just ordered a (hobbywing ezrun combo max10, motor and 120A esc). Just waiting on delivery. 😌😁

Hi I have 2 zorros an 2 carnages I love ftx trucks . On mine I have upgraded the steering to alloy as you find you lose the c clip of the steering you can buy an blue alloy set for £10 or so and it replaces the C clip (which is a crap design) to a thumb nut which hold the spring down you will need to lockite the nut on as you know metal bits on RCs come loose . Also it's a better turn on the alloy than the plastic version .so it handle better .

Thinking of replacing my chassis. Not a fan of the plate design on the Ali chassis though. Managed to secure a dust cover to the plastic ‘tub’ chassis. Do you reckon a Velcro dust cover could be secured to the Ali chassis?

Top of the morning what new wheels tiyers.?.

Only driven this twice and it's broken on both runs. 1st one, the rear wheel came off and I lost the parts attached to that section. 2nd time after 1 battery run through it, the car now no longer has power. Switch on and it has steering, but no motor, than fan runs but there is no power to the the motor, no idea what's wrong

great video and new to the hobby .. well my son really ! on its 4th run today my son lost control and rammed the car on to a bench in a park :( ... he got a little over confidant i guess ... could not see tears running down fast for some time it was his Bday present ! the damage is on the left side on the plastic that connects the wheel to the chassis ..... would you be able to advise if this repairable and parts i might need - we have nothing fallen apart i mean small parts have not fallen off we have looked .. its just that plastic which is broken ! any advise will be hugely appreciated ... SUBSCRIBED !! :)
