first you need to discharge the 2 input capacitors, they can hill o ruin test equipment

Is it safe to open a psu cover for cleaning purpose? I have read everywhere it's dangerous as the capacitors carry charge.

True..You should not touch capacitor terminals with your bare hands as they hold charge even after you disconnect it from power source.. once you discharge the caps by shorting +ve and -ve terminals, you're good to go. You can clean the PSU that way..

Please all avoid Coolermaster brand all together . Don't let that cool name fool you , they are made in small factory with little to none QC check .

Hello. Can someone please help me to fix my PSU ? It's made by great wall 1250w and it's exactly the same like ocz zx 1250w PSU . It turns on half second and relay automatically shuts it down. I would really appreciate if someone could guide me through how to fix it, what to check and how ? I have multimeter. Thanks

@@Harinderbhinder That’s a really really old power supply. If you’re using a system with new gen specs, you better get a new power supply ASAP. If possible, please tell me the specs of your pc.

My advise to you would be to shut down your channel immediately, learn electronics repairing for 5 years and then start your youtube channel, please take my advice seriously
