Worked for me today just bought a used 08 altima hybrid and the two front windows and lock switches didn't work. Utilized this helpful video and now everything works. Thanks my man. 1 less thing i gotta worry about

Hate to hear that.. but luckily they aren’t to expensive to replace! I think they’re like $50 on amazon!

to reset auto function of windows on a nissan , roll window down continue to hold switch down for 12 seconds then immediately roll window up continue to hold for 12 seconds , has to be done on each individual window from its own door switch car has to be in run position but not started

You did great. 👍 I just fixed the exact same problem with my Nissan Note. Now the window can be lubricated with some silicone spray in the guides. This will prolong the life of the electric motor because it won't have to work as hard. On one of my windows the rubber squeaks, maybe because the rubber is getting old. I'm going to try and clean the rubber with silicone spray in the hope that this will remove abrasive dirt and nourish the rubber and increase its flexibility. 🤞 All the best.

I think the reason it happens because the Drivers door interior always gets wet when you open the door in the rain
