Nothing crazy, Just replacing a fuel tank and carb due to excessive rust in fuel.

I have never had any luck with those aftermarket carbs. I still think it is much better to clean the factory carbs.

I hear ya but the factory carb was trashed. Maybe if I had a sonic cleaner. I wish I had a video of cleaning out the sediment bowl when I bought the thing... I was chizzeling it out with a screwdriver... that might give you an idea of how nasty this thing was. Thanks for watching!

Is that one of the newer models not made in Japan ,made in India or someplace like that?

I have no clue on the year but it is quite a bit older. Before the plastic stuff took over

Hey dude, you didnt have to cut the rails off. All you had to do was take the two end bolts out and the fuel tank slides right out. Just an FYI for anyone else who watches this video.

It was pretty wrecked and mangled. It was just easier cutting it. I fell off a truck again since this video! 😂

@@chrisw.3077 I'm removing the tank from a 5000 for general cleanup. I knew I would find someone here to show me how to finesse the job. :)
