Larry, thanks for clarifying commands and ecollar. I remember in one of your videos you said you don’t teach the basic commands through ecollar, NOW I understand that you teach ecollar through the known commands. HUGE difference. THANKS!

Hi Larry great information. We live in a land where ecollars really can’t be the mainstay of training. As a viable business you just wouldn’t survive. So all my training got is without them. So we have to create negatives in different ways. But you’re mentioning of training in compartments is extremely important. As it can help avoid confusion in the dog. It’s something l both learned and realised very early in my career. I train everything in three or four different compartments and only bring them together at the right time towards the end of a dogs stay here for retraining or rehabilitation. The key is building a great relationship with a dog. If you rush things you can weaken or damage the relationship. Which is why some dogs will appear flat... which is probably what people mean when you said that they say I’m doing what your doing but my dog doesn’t look like that. Larry love your videos man so helpful honestly. Your way of dog training is like no others. The shit u say and thing u do they just make perfect sense. I need help your help though man. You haven’t really talked about crying and whimpering when dogs don’t get what they want. “At least I’m assuming that’s why” but I have a 1 year and 8 month old bull terrier and he just can cry and whimper all day if he doesn’t get what he wants. I could send videos so u can see thanks and again keep up good work.👍

I have a two yr old female german shepherd/blue healer/ husky cross that was a rescue and is very skiddish. It is mostly with loud or unfamiliar noises. Do you have any recommendations for videos/ literature that would be beneficial for her? I'm basically trying to figure out where to start. I have had her for a year and she seemed to be getting better but then summer is like she has taken a step or 2 back.

So to sum.... Lots of training with a leash- to make sure the dog KNOWS the basic obedience- then train those commands the dog knows with the ecollar. Not train the commands WITH the ecollar.
