Glad to see you back in the shop Cam! One thing I’ve used as a valve spring compressor on these type of engines is the box end of a wrench. Then you can use a magnet wand to drop in the keepers. You should definitely do more videos working on clunkers. I always love watching a clapped out bike getting brought back to life. Hope you’re doing well!

Me: simple over bore with maybe an Elkins shock and stiffer fork springs would be awesome... Also me: 160cc Daytona kit w/ properly jetted carburetor, oversized hi-flow air filter, BBR aluminum perimeter frame and aluminum swingarm kit, shock body w/linkage, inverted marzocchi forks/full front end valved for mini-arenacross with correct spring rate, front/rear disc brakes kit w/braided steel lines, aluminum throttle assembly w/ throttle tub with a bearing and 1/4 quick turn throttle cam, excel wheels (bigger wheel)/talon hubs, thicker spokes, pro taper tall bar with bar risers, tall seat w/guts cover, FMF mega bomb header with carbon 4.1 slip on, wider titanium pegs (sharpened with file) with lowering mounts, bbr aluminum gas cap, lots of carbon fiber and Ti pieces, and VP race fuel.....and different colored plastics with graphics to match my 250 and 450 race bikes. I used to have the full bike BBR once built with their aluminum perimeter frame and swingarm, the 160 Daytona engine, inverted forks, etc. Due the power to weight/wheel base ratio, it sounded and felt like a legitimate race bike, it was absolutely ridiculous. I regret selling it cause now the BBR chassis is near impossible to find even if you want to piece it together, and a unicorn if you find it as a rolling chassis, or full bike. Now that pitbikes are coming back, I hope they start making them again even if it's just 'made to order'. You might as well of been riding a 250F against every other 110 with that bike and engine

The amount of people thinking this is present day is almost as magical as the content.

Pro tip: When putting valve springs back in, take a spark plug socket and pack a balled up sandwich bag inside. Stack your spring, retainer and clips on the end of the valve, hold the socket on top and give it a good whack with a heavy hammer.

check the flat head screw at the base of the carb bowl is tight (the drain bolt) if loose it will also leak fuel out of that overflow line, which makes the bike run like crap, as the bowl never keeps enough fuel in it.

That red silicon sealant on the case halves. 😂😂
