Personally for the last giant I say the hole face should stay as it’s a unique design choice for them and it makes them distinct compared to the other dark souls giants. I do agree on the first phase missing an arm, perhaps he rips it off during his attempt to free himself. For his second phase I say he should remove the stake in his body and use it as a weapon violently swinging it, with blood that has now become damaging spilling out occasionally from the wound.

i mean the lack of cinematics is kinda a bullshit thing to hate on.. So is the lack of second phases. Literally the only Dark Souls where bosses have more than one phase is DS3 But yeah DS2 the worst one, still a good game tho

Ok first of all Very nice vid a solid subscribe However theres is one gripe I have and its about the last giant, I personally would say that removing the hole face would ruin some of the charm the ds2 giant have. I have always adored their uncanny inhuman design and having them have faces would ruin that, the fact that they cant express themselves like us makes them all the more creepy and cool. And heres just me talking: What if there were only 2 belfry gargoyles and then in a twist theres a third big gargoyle thats similiar to the ds1 counterpart What if prowling magus became a scary wendigo so you were looked in a room with scary magus guy What if blue smelter demon had a huge katana instead of a ultra greatsword Theres is so many ways the bosses could have gone but time is a fickle thing

dark souls 2 was ruined by the first sinner edition. that game had better fighting mechanics that was more about timing then dark souls 3's and the first game.
