Today we're starting a PC Repair and Building company in PC Building Simulator. PC Building Simulator puts you in the shoes of a small 1-man computer repair and rebuild company where you have to accept jobs and troubleshoot and repair anything that comes through the door. I'm too scared of any kind of voltage to build my own pc, I rather buy it prebuilt and slowly upgrade. I caused my own trauma by sticking keys into a electrical socket.

I don't know if it helps, but the voltage inside a pc is too low to kill you anyways. you need roughly 50 volts applied to a dry hand to be lethal, while pc's have no more than 12.5 V in them. As long as you don't disassemle the psu, you can't get electrocuted.

this is pretty much my job and i can tell you that it is incredibly difficult to shock yourself while building a pc. at worst you are just grounding yourself on the case, which is a good thing. its really quite easy, you should give it a go. just do your research and youll be fine

Kills me that ya put the two dimms of RAM in the slots next to each other. On most modern boards you should actually use alternate slots (i.e. slot 0 and 2) with slot 0 being the one closest to the cpu. Manufacturers optimize these slots in pairs, so if you're not filling all slots those are the best to use.

you could have waited on ordering the cpu cooler until you ordered the psu. that way you could have saved 10$ and gotten the cooler the next day with the psu. don't order things from the shop until you have collected everything possible and accepted the new jobs you want.

i think ive been watching drae for a couple years now where as people like ssundee and direwolf20 and markiplier and jacksepticeye ive been subbed to for about 6+ years the first channels i think i subbed to were direwolf20 and gmm and akothebuilder and drawingkid1313 unfortunately ako retired about 2-3 years ago and drawing kid no one really knows what happened to him he just stopped uploading

They should add a part of the game where you can customize what you have to do so you can make your computer and use the game as a tutorial on how to set it up.

if it was truely a pc building sim then there should be a stress meter for your character. during my first build thats the only thing i remember feeling as i put hundreds of dollars of hardware together and had then proceeded to have a mini panic attack when it didn't boot up the first couple of times i tried to turn it on

15:57 You misplaced the RAM sticks. Irl they will run in single channel mode causing less performance or even performance issues. Next time leave a dimm slot in between them. Normally you pick the ones the furthest from the cpu. Some newer motherboards even have a different colour on the channels.
