Fixing Eufycam 2k pan & tilt pink screen fault

My cam had the pink screen issue - didn't think to record whenI fixed it so I'm going through the steps to help anyone else with this issue - there may be more causes but mine was just a stuck filter - hope it helps somebody.

My memory card popped out and I could not raise the eye to get it. This helped me take it apart to pull out the card. I did not need to take off any cables thankfully. Thanks!

My cam, stop moving up and down, and i can hear something loose when i shake it. Wish part is responsible for the movement?

Nice disassembly mate. Pretty hard to find it on youtube as it's not mainstream. I was looking onto it because mine just completly died, to I'll try to troubleshoot somehow. Cheers

@@brian_serafin I couldn't fix it for now 'cause my problem is in the conector, not the cable. For that I have to send it to someone that makes precision sodering.... and I still couldn't find one. Mine also died suddenly, so with a bid of wiggleling on the ribbon it flashed. I changed the cable but the problem persisted. That is how I suppose where the problem is.

I think it was an amazon buy - though the gears stripped themselves so had a replacement sent to me so not sure how long they last.

Great video. The issue I am having is the camera doesn't detect the power cable on that little PCB. I disconnect the 2 harnesses and 1 ribbon cable then reseated everything but the camera still doesn't detect the power cable. I tried a different outlet and brand new cable as well. I'm going to disassemble further and see if something got unplugged further inside.

@@blaaaaaaah2 if you still wondered....I found on mine that its micro/mini usb power socket had disconnected/lifted from the board. Going to reflow. press it to check LED power continuity.
