Great video Few additions: 1. Drip irrigation 2.cover existing dams and canals with floating solar (to reduce evaporation 3. Shift to less water consuming crops (,which in some cases can even have more selling price)

I am in Adani sewage treatment plant and this STP adopt technology of organica water which is from US. Absolutly Right europe and amerika have very efficient technology. We have no rnd centre for that.

Along with rainwater harvesting and deslaination and reverse osmosis, we need to work on industrial water treatment using plants like algae as well. This will allow for better management of the available freshwater within the ecosystem while also allowing us to obtain biofuels and energy carriers using algae

Can we add 2 lifepo4 battery in parallel or 2 tubular lead acid. Like 2 24v 100ah lipo4 in parallel to make a 200ah 24v. Or 4 lead acid 12v 150ah (2series) and (2series) in parallel to make a 24v 300ah lead acid.

Hirakud dam is near my town have a big area.its can easily accommodate more than 100 GW of floating solar plant. India have huge potential for floating solar plant. So that farm land will be save.research on it and try to make a video on it.

u are wrong 1GW solar needs 20 km sq so 100 GW would need 2000 km sq + There is no single reservoirs which is that big eg Indira SagarDam only goes to 913.48 km2

Yes it keep panel cool(efficient), save land acquisition cost, save lots of water from evaporation, reduce transmissions cost as dams generally have power plant and can compliment each other.

But its difficult to maintain, structures designed for water can be damaged if level goes down, dams are not always in high sunlight areas, bird shit is problem, reduces oxygen in water. And some dams are in hailstorm areas if i recall correctly. So these issues need to be balanced.

Sir can we use algae and other plant life for treating industrial wastewater. The algae can then be used as a source of biofuel which has a ready market available to puck the biofuel on any quantities produced.

Mai abhi har din apne tutuion jate samaya ek ghar ke samne se gujar ta hun jis ne "RAIN WATER HARVESTING" system lagaya hai.... Aur mujhe iss baat ke bare mai tab pata chala , jab maine unke chaat(roof) se ek drainage pipe nikal kar ek "RAIN WATER FILTER" ko jake laga hua dhekha , joki "RAINY" company ka hai..... phir usse 2 pipe nikla hai jo TANK aur DRAIN se connected hai....

a stupid question Indian houses which are built from brick and concrete those have flat roofs and when rain falls they accumulate lots of water so they have a system to discharge the water from the roof but they just let go the water to roads or nearest land , what if they just connect the pipes to the tube well, then when rain falls the water from roof goes directly into the groundwater. is it safe? isn't it makes groundwater more pollutant

पर सर डेम नहीं बनाएंगे तो नदियों का पानी तो समुद्र में ही चला जाएगा। नहरें सूख जाएंगी, खेती बर्बाद हो जाएगी। बिजली उत्पादन पर भी तो बुरा असर पड़ेगा।😢

Nahin hoga. Reasons 1. Rainwater is a very small.part of water source for rivers. 2. Additionally, rainwater harvesting can help reduce flash floods, which are caused by overflowing of rivers and other water channels. 3. Water harvesting will help in recharging of ground water which will reduce the pressure on the rivers as, once, levels of ground waters rise, the land will remain moist and reduce the requirement of irrigation. 4. Even if done on a war footing the entire rain water cannot be harvested and hence, a large chunk of water will still.flow into the rivers. The smaller chunk which is wasted can be harvested so as to be put for use.
