This video demonstrates how to ladder up a column of garter stitch or seed stitch (which alternates between knits and purls up the column) without the need to remove the crochet hook from the live stitch. Two approaches are demonstrated: one method using a double-ended crochet hook, and another using a standard crochet hook.
