I had a 2003 ML500 , loved it and sold it at 163K still strong. Now I have a ML320 from 2002 , its a black beast. Amazing engine at 130K still runs like new. No codes stored in the module. Love these cars. Sold my ML500 about 2 years ago and I missed my ML500 so much I bought this one. Great on gas and very powerful. Great looking SUV.

What a cool car, a sport ml500 in that color, awesome. I have an 02 Ml55 which I waited a long time to find the right one. Happy to see other people (enthusiasts or otherwise) enjoying these cars for how simple they are

Very cool! I’m at 109k miles on my ML500 2002. Didn’t know about the grill badge, will apply for it when I hit 155k.

When the ML goes in limp mode sometimes it is a cam position sensor. Easy fix.

We have an ml500 that needs a rear differential bushing but it is hard to find. Where can I buy this bushing

What is the total expense you put into the car? Thinking about buying a 2000 430 ml with 110k ‘miles. Needs a couple things fixed. Not sure to oil the trigger

Our transfer case/box is our weak point if you force it. Change the oil regularly and to the gearbox also. Also change the oil for differentials

Do you change oil separately in the transfer case than in the gearbox oil

@@bekabeka71 Yes. They are totally separate, they aren't connected each other. And depends how much you use one or other, you can make "shorter" the oil change in one.

@@bekabeka71 The first. Did you change the oil? Completly or without "washing". Is you don't wash, you need to do at least 2 oil changes, with filter and connector. You can write me in private.

@@hipolitoa.gonzalezm.4633 I have changed the whole gearbox along with new oil last summer but now it gets stuck in second gear and jerks in reverse as well 🤦🏻♂️
