Wow, you must be so proud of Taj and Bella..!! Give them a task and off they go like a pro..!! They may not know the terminology, but they got the concepts sorted..!! They are great crew, and very proficient. Well done all of you..!!

Bella, every apprentice I've ever known always starts off by locating a Wotsit to fix a Thingiagig with a Yokymabob before moving on to a Doobyferkler, well done you, battle scars and ouchies accounted for, stage one complete!! Stay Safe & Fair Winds

All the spare parts you found under Bella's bed is like a treasure chest full of goodies . The kids helping out doing jobs around the boat frees up time for Lee to do the bigger / harder jobs that need to be done . Great job captain & crew !

I love these videos as this a treat to see some of the work you are doing to get the vessel ready for blue water. I don't remember if you had done this or I saw it on another's sailing vids but make an inventory. As the storage you were going through is Bella's domain, to save from trashing it looking, have her do a video of everything and then do a spead sheet or log book so you know every last nut, bolt, screw and part that is stored. Label the boxes to tag them in your inventory list. I saw numbers on a couple of the boxes so maybe there is already some sort of inventory hidden on board?

Why not use Stainless Steel Inner Thread Self Tapping Thread Inserts for the Aluminum frames? Drill the hole a little bigger, glue the Self Tappers in with Loctite and use Marine Grade White Grease on the Stainless Steel bolts.

I have never had an easy out work. No matter how big of one I have used. I had to scrap a truck because of stuck easy outs in the engine block that had broken and left me in worse shape than the broken bolt would have. I'm glad they worked for you.

I found loads of rotten core in my decks - large sections replaced with new coosa core and fresh layers of 1708 and west system epoxy. Still chasing all the damn exterior grade plywood they used under your stanchions 🤦🏻. I’m replacing everything that goes through the deck, just about. It’s been years of work but getting to be worth it.

For stubborn studs, Easyout sets often come with the appropriately sized left hand drills so that drilling the hole also aids with removal. Occasionally just drilling the hole will be enough to free the offending stud. Using a normal drill actually tightens everything not loosens it.
