Great job on the trails you two. With regards to the log yard extension, you could maybe give it the "Mike Morgan Treatment" and cover it with some stone, or get a load of course wood chips to combat the mud that comes with "FLAT" ground. Just something to think about!

Trails? Those are like roads! Looks like you could drive your F150 back there. In our woodlot we have “truck roads,” which are trails where you can comfortably drive a pickup, and “tractor roads,” which are trails and old skid roads that are accessible to the tractor, but not trucks. We don’t have any of the equipment you and Doug do beyond a comparable tractor to yours… A tractor beats a shovel, rake and wheelbarrow, hands down!

You need to put on a splitting party. Have over a bunch of friends 2 3 4 extra splitters and just go to town on that pile and just cook a bunch of food and a keg or 2 of beer. Eat and drink a little during the day and polish off the keg or 2 that night while you party and enjoy a bonfire Only thing that would make that skid steer dozer blade better is if it had a top grapple on it like you see on buckets. Then when it's needed you can move a log or a pile of brush or roots etc.
@OneEyeCustoms

The only thing I’d do different is keep the slashing pile away from the saplings. I believe that is going to be some nice compost if you keep it clean. Might have to spray the edges with some Crossbow otherwise.

Adam, I'm that old man that believes box blades make somewhat of a attempt at ballast! The skid-steer vs your tractor, these are guesses and not identified facts! Three times the horsepower. 3 times the weight, 3 times the hydraulic oil flow--8 times the purchase price!! Loaders are a tremendous joy to operate when you learn to work a machine without cutting edge visibility from the seat!!! Enjoy your videos and my other suggestion--DON'T MIND ME!

I'm sure someone has mentioned this, but the number of baskets you'd need to finish all of that firewood doesn't really seem reasonable. Have you considered instead building a large firewood shed or maybe just stacking them on some concrete blocks (or something like Outdoor With The Morgans)? You could probably keep 100 baskets worth of wood if you had a system to stack the wood vertically until baskets start to get empty.
