Asphalt rollers use vibration in the rollers to compact, not just the vehicle weight. *that* is what's being turned on.

I believe Job Scope refers to how much you have to do of a job before it auto-fills itself to finish. Essentially how much wiggle room you get

1:19 anyone else thought that was Colonel Failure's webcam on the right side for a split second? Also, not to burst your bubble of hope, but literally everything i read on the steam page for this game said NOTHING about there being any sort of "free construction" sandbox mode after you finish the campaign.. It just says "x missions across 2 maps". Kinda worrysome ngl. I mean imagine if Farming Simulator only had a few campaign missions and then game over ?

Well, doing the drive DID let you drive right into the rising sun, which was quite a visual treat! Good job on navigating in such glare...this is a real compliment, not being facetious!

Yeah vibrating roller. They are not heavy enough compared to an old school roller. A little one like you are on is only about 3-4tons. the soil compactor ones in the game work the same way. In reality they are not different types of machines, though a roller for doing asphalt has little water feeds to the outside of the drum to cool it down as you go.

Or an oil mix to keep the bituminous mix from sticking, usually diesel or some other emulsion stuff

@@kingjohn6519 Only ever done that with shovels etc. Wacker plates and rollers use water (at least up until the last time i did it 30 years ago :D)

It's nice to know that colonel failure now has the ability to fix all these potholes on our roads and if there was a penalty for pressing the wrong button colonel failure would now be broke and bankrupt.

Thay can't have that, all construction/road work would grind to a halt evrytime there was a running competition, anttgat is in eficient, and we all now the german reaction to in efucencues " nein nein nein !" Lol

@@PapaBear6t8 Which was something like 70 years ago as the internal combustion engine got good enough to push hydrostatics around. Haven't used rollers that old but have used scrapers from the 50s it definitely has some strong haptic feedback lol. Who needs power steering or hydro-electric valve controls when you have elbow grease
