Quick Draw + Quick Claw is still a hilarious to catch people off guard. Especially in Almost Any Ability on Showdown

Imposter forcing you to transform when your opponent changes would probably make ditto worse thinking about it, it would mean that your opponent effectively gets to decide one member of your team, switching ditto in and out actually gives the user much more control over how effective ditto can be. imagine your opponent swaps in a pokemon that is walled by its partner in doubles or walls itself, ditto is forced to switch anyway at that point

"Quick Draw is just Quick Claw but as an ability" Gorilla Tactics literally being just an abilitified (is that even a real word? lol) Choice Band:

1. Quick Draw would be bonkers broken. It's pretty much pre-nerf Gale Wings but attached to a Pokemon with good stats and a great movepool. 2. Power of Alchemy would suck and would never be used. A. Muk is made to use its great typing and only has the stats for that. The only real scenario you would use it would be next to a Ground resist mon, but that requires that you play the whole game around the chance that your teammate will die at the right time. 3. Imposter would be a huge nerf. There would be no reason to use Ditto since you would rely on your opponent playing really bad. Maybe if it reset choice items it could be good? 4. Defeatist would be worse, as speed it absolutely more important than attack, as even at low HP you can still disrupt your opponent's team with moves like Endeavor and support your team with moves like Stealth Rock. 5. Forecast is... intresting? It has a 2/3 chance to screw you over unless your team is made to play around all weathers, which is really hard.

PLus 1 priority in every move is absurdy broken, What do you mean it doesn´t matter in a 30 base speed pokemon? It will always go first unless the oponent uses priority against you. Talonflame needed a nerf with just the flying moves and it has 126 speed. A much better change would be plus 1 priority in every bullet like move (The moves bulletprove negates)And also making his signature move bullet like, since it isn´t for some reason while sluge bomb is so IDK.

Forecast should give castform a 50% boost to all its stats boost to all its stats.

I like where you went with Yamper’s ability, Ball Fetch, but I think instead of making it just bulletproof, what if Yamper “Fetches” ball moves? So it could be like Magic Bounce, but would bounce back all ball moves instead! So basically fetching the ball and giving it back to the thrower! XD

Really fun video but honestly id retitle the video lol to something like "Fun changes to abilities" because like others have said i wouldnt call most of these "fixes" when a lot are outright worse. Ngl id rather you have just given new abilities, the ones you came up with in the starter video were really cool

My thoughts: Pastel Veil - I'd instead make this a better Shield Dust, as in it effects itself AND its allies. In addition to immunity from the Poison condition. Quick Draw - that's too much. This basically makes it a better Dragonite (who already can be tough to deal with). Instead, I think giving it +6 Priority, but only ONCE per switch-in. It's balanced by the fact it cannot be boosted by Helping Hand. Power of Alchemy - I'm not sure how much I like these changes, but I certainly don't have a better solution. Truant - make it to where it can only not use consecutive attacking moves. It can spam status moves to its heart's content. Slow Start - I'd make this to where Regigigas starts with its normal stats, but then if it stays on the field for 3 or 5 turns, it gets an omni-boost (including Accuracy, but not Evasion), and then gets another one for staying on the field for 5 or 8 turns. The counter resets if it switches out. Imposter - Ditto is actually pretty good (albeit specific) as it is. I don't think this needs to be changed. Defeatist - I think the damage reduction should be 33% (equivalent to -1), and should activate at either 25% or 33% health. Probably the latter. Not a fan of the Speed boost. Forecast - the Ability is not the issue. It's Castform that's the issue. I do not advocate for adding an RNG element to Forecast. It would make teambuilding with Castform so unreliable.

That Impostor change is actually awful lmao. You'd make it very much worse. Ditto's niche is copying setup sweepers and then sweeping the enemy by holding a Choice Scarf. If your changes were applied, Ditto would be much worse.

For Yamper, you could have it automatically steal the foe's item if it's not holding one upon entering battle too. Like a better Magician but it's not op since bolthund doesn't keep the ability and it's a yamper.

Also give DEFEATIST the power to double defences so it's still not poopoo

Saying about the Pokémon speed being low as a balance for giving it priority on every move is crazy xD. That would only matter if it was facing a faster pokemon with sucker punch. Also, quick draw stacks with quick claw, so it’s not too bad at all.

Gale wing should work as long as HP is above 50%

You have no idea what you are talking about, you straight up downgraded 2 abilities. If ditto retransformed for every mon it would reset its stat changes, and literally the only reason people use it is to copy set up sweepers and revers sweep woth scarf. Power of alchemy changing type would remove A. Grimer's amazing top 10 best typing and if you were running stab attacks well too bad they arent stab anymore...

The forecast change is sounding like a really good idea but it would make it a tad bit harder to use on specific weather teams but could be useful on a sort of mixed weather team (minus sandstorm cause there’s no sandstorm form)

Forecast should give Castform a sandstorm form!

That change would literally make ditto impossible to use, as it would ruin its UNO reverse potential

I would have preferred like Archeops Defeatist should have worked like Close Combat, lowering Archeop's defensive stats each time it uses an attacking move. I personally would have also given it the benefit of boosting attack power in exchange for this, but realistically speaking that's going a little too far.

Tbf, Slaking and Regigigas need their abilities to be that degree of shit otherwise the planet will crack in 2 from a sneeze

Why not make a pastel veil ability as Misty terrain setting ability. In that way it still negates status condition but it now lowers dragon type damage for itself and its allies. With this we now have Pokemons that set up terrain with the help of tapus

If i were given the chance to tweak Defeatist I'd probably make it something of a trade off so that it isn't only a minus ability. Maybe something in the direction of "when HP becomes lower the 50% half attack as well as sp.atk but max out evasion" which would fall in line with the theme by giving off the impression that the user of the ability is now trying to avoid conflict/run away do to failing confidence. With this set up you try to fish for crits to ignore the stat drop while potentially avoiding damage.

But why should there even be a nerf to archeops just make defeatist like if the pokemon has low hp he will unleash all of its potential and raise it offensive stat making it a better ability
