This was so satisfying to watch. Would love to see a video on restoring headlights.

Thank you! I have another coming whenever I have time to edit of me cleaning the inside. I'll also slide one in of me cleaning the headlights. It definitely needs that.

For a moment, I thought you were going to get rained on. Lol Amazing difference. Such a good job cleaning it. Glad you could get those stains off. You know my car is 10 years old and the headlights had become very dingy. One day when I was having the oil changed at Walmart the guys asked me if I wanted the lights cleaned and I said sure. I was amazed at the difference. That cream or liquid they used worked so well. Now I can see the street at night. Lol

Me too! It was thundering in the distance for a long time, it sprinkled a little bit but nothing crazy. I was amazed at how well this truck cleaned. It almost looks like a new truck again. You're right about the headlights, I need to clean these things off. They will make a huge difference.

You need a Dual-Action battery-powered buffer/polisher. I got my Kobalt brand at Lowes. Armed with that you can put a pad on with some light rubbing compound to remove those baked on stains. Follow with a dedicated pad with wax, and then another dedicated pad with polish. The pads come in different "abrasiveness" depending on what you are applying. You can have endless debates about which brand of compound, wax, and polish...much like "which motor oil is best". The wax and polish will protect the paint. Your clear coat is not worn off. If it was you would see signs where it would look similar to the way your skin does when sunburned, in that you would see the layers. Once you have the DA, use it on your other vehicles to keep them looking good and protect the paint. Not sure about the Good Off, but it did what you wanted it to. I still think you need some additional protection that a wax, at a minimum will give you. All IMHO.

That’s some good info. I’ll have to check into the buffer polisher. It sounds like it would be just the ticket for things like this.
