If you add a dumpster to the lot you can rummage around for things to resell. I'd also say getting the market stand to sell small stuff or the one to sell paintings would be super quick ways to bulk up on cash. 😊

Girl!! The digital sketchpad is FASTER times 50 compared to the easel. It's 1k so it costs more but you can do 4 paintings in it queued up in the same amount of time as ONE on the easel!!!!

You can buy the silver and blue trash can that gives you money every time you throw something away. The amount goes by how many sims are in the household. Since you have so much stuff to throw away that will make you free money.

This is a brilliant idea for a challenge! If you're playing in spring or summer, send one of the adults to the Romance festival to harvest flowers. Plant all the flowers at home....especially the bird-of-paradise. Selling your harvests will give you a ton of money.

Fun video and cute family! I did a similar rags to riches game recently. She was a Freegan Spellcaster, who could only furnish with things she found and fixed. She was also able keep things she built or fabricated. I also let her have a Pile of Presents and Attic Box. I added holidays for Spring and Summer along with the Fall and Winter ones. She was able to open a gift and rummage for decorations on each holiday. She was able to use or sell what she got.

Loved this challenge so much, I decided to make it the foundation of my super sim. She’s an orphaned teen ‘adopted’ by the sole survivor of a large house disaster - a ghost! She’s currently 3 generations later and still super simming but this idea added so much lore and challenge to her life! Thanks for the wonderful content and great idea.

You can use the present pile from seasons to make tons of money real quick. You can restock it multiple times, open the presents and sell them and then after a cool-down again

Everytime I finished one of your vids I wanted to see you do a different challenge and you did it already! Most sims videos I have to force myself to keep watching because it is half boring. With the copypasto spell you can clone expensive produce, paintings, etc for some easy money. Get a money fruit fishing or buy one with rewards and have unlimited money fruits!

Rags to renovation sounds actually like lot of fun. I will try it someday for sure

I like to visit random lots and harvesting anything I can. The spice festival has a lot of harvestables you can sell

With your next Rags to Renovation, I would recommend sending your sim to the magical realm, and then having the sim take photo after photo after photo (with their cell phone) of the magical sages. Taking 5 photos of each one will make them your instant best friends, and you can sell the pictures for money. Let them teach you how to cast spells, and learn how to make potions. As soon as you learn the Potion of Plentiful Needs, use your phone to purchase apples (From the "Gifts" option), and go to town at the free cauldron. Practice your magic, but also search for tomes. Ask every sage to teach you a spell and teach you a potion recipe, then spend your time making Potions of plentiful Needs, while you wait for the cooldown, before you can ask for more, or search for tomes, again. You want Repario, Scruberoo, and Delicioso, from Practical Magic. You also want Copy Pasto, and you want Decursify. Other spells and potions come in handy, too. When you learn a new potion, you get a free one in your inventory. DO NOT DRINK IT. Use Copy Pasto to duplicate it, several times. Always keep one or two to copy. ALWAYS save before you copy, and make sure you have plenty of space in your magic power ball, so you are less likely to fail. Failure to copy destroys the original, so I prefer to Copy Pasto two of each potion, and then copy from there, making sure you have the original and a spare, at all times. Potion of Plentiful Needs boosts ALL your needs, so once you have that down, and a steady supply of apples, you can just keep creating them, and everyone in the family who is at least a teen (maybe child? I haven't tested) can live off of these potions, thus saving your beds and other survival furniture for your toddler and child. If you can't find the tome you need to cast a spell, just practice, and you'll learn it, eventually. But DO search for those tomes! It's faster to learn a spell, but also you REALLY want to have a familiar, and have it active at all times! The familiar will warn you when you're about to overload (it's caused by ANY spell-casting, and even by brewing on the cauldron, although brewing doesn't fill your ball as fast as casting), but the familiar will also save you from the Grim Reaper! GET A FAMILIAR! And focus mostly on the practical magic, although all three schools are, indeed, quite useful. Practicing magic is something you can do at home, though, so if you dont' want to leave your family behind for too long, then get the magic, learn the first spell and potion from each sage, and then go home. Buy a cauldron as soon as you can (you need it for the Potions Master aspiration, anyway). Practice magic at home, as much as you can. DO go back to the Magic Realm every day to search the tomes, until you get a familiar for every caster in the family, and every time you level up, so you can ask for more spells and potion recipes from the sages. With that, you should be able to thrive! Also, if you take a small object that is worth a lot (such as using your happiness points on a money tree seed), and you copy pasto that (then immediately stick one in your inventory, to keep it safe, and copy the copy), until just before you are about to overload, then you can sell off most of those money tree seeds! Keep a spare in your inventory, and plant a couple, for guaranteed future income. Also, when farming, if you have a money tree, and the ability to graft, take a cutting from the money tree, and graft it onto a plant that is able to be harvested every season, like lemons or avocados. Then, while you're harvesting lemons or avocados, you'll also harvest a money tree seed! You can sell it, or plant another money tree! Gardening and copy pasto will keep you wealthy, for sure! Any of those early spells from practical magic can be really useful to keep you alive. Delicioso will feed you and your family, Scruberoo will clean your house, and yourselves, Repairio will fix everything that's broken, as you said. I didn't know it would fix burnt objects! WOOT! And the Copy Pasto will give you SO MUCH MONEY (as well as useful, but hard to make, potions). Oh, by the way, you don't have to learn the potions from tomes and sages. You can experiment with the cauldron, and eventually learn them all that way, just as you practice each type of magic, and eventually learn all the spells. It takes a while, and it's random, but you can do it at home (BUY A CAULDRON. Also useful for cooking mac and cheese). And learn Decursify as soon as you can, too, because you WILL get cursed during your magic journey. Believe me.

Breeding frogs is a really great way to make money! Travel to a few lots and get some of the $100+ frogs and you can breed & sell (all but 2) over and over.

Add the decoration box from seasons and you can rummage through it for decor and sell the decor.

I suggest getting a familiar to prote t against overcharge, also spellcaster skill tree perks. You could unlock new spells by having your sim practice at home, scruberoo all that.

the writing skill, writing book and self publishing makes a lot of money. I was turning out books like crazy in my gameplay and everyday you get passive income from the duties. so if you write a few books and then move onto another career, as long as the books are published you will make money from them daily!

get a small patch of expensive plants and plant them, lilies for example (Willow Creek) can make you like 500 bucks a day per bush or even more, it's honestly kinda op

My favorite way to make money on the Sims for rags to riches is to buy the Come and Get it Street Store table from City Living and sell Seashells and Treasures I find scuba diving, you can even change the Mark Up price and make even more money!

heres how i made my legacy family filthy rich: I got a yard sale table and started basically selling anything i found (gets you a good amount of money first) but the real simoleons are in Selvadorada! Complete the Temples and the relicts you get in the end can be sold for around 30-40 k simoleons

Along with painting, I usually garden as well, the fruits and veggies make bank!!! =)
