Dyna audio isn't compatible with any android systems from what I know but maybe there's a new one that is compatible and I don't know about it. But to be honest the sound quality is still extremely good even without Dyna audio on

Did you find out anything about this? I have the same setup.

This one works with it you just some people say you need to tweak the amp settings to get it to sound perfect but even without adjusting them it still sounds really good.

Yeah this one doesn't give any issues. I don't suggest products that will cause any issues and if they do but I still recommend them then I clearly state that issues you're going to encounter with the install of that product. But yeah thanks for the feedback 💯💯

There are many versions of android screens alot are bad but there are also good ones. I only recommend good items in my videos. The rear view camera does come up when you go into reverse and parking sensors will work if your car has them fitted. The link for it is in the description it's a new model of the one I have since my one has been discontinued

Yeah I know. Also these clips for the fascia will always break they're designed in a really stupid way where the actual force applied to the plastic parts are too high when removing it so they are bound to break at some point

Yeah it will fit a Mk6 Jetta. I think It came with a manual on how to use it but I just threw it away😂😂. It just runs normal android like on a smartphone so its really easy to use

Oh that's odd. Check in the cables some have a wire that has a connector in he middle and some need that to be disconnected for some models

Aslong as the key is out the car so ignition is off the it'll be fine but if you want to yeah disconnecting the battery will be fine👍

Yeah it'll fit my Mk6 golf is 2009 aswell and it allows you to skip songs, make and receive phone calls etc.

Both of the ones in the description both are high quality and have that good OEM look but the one with the cd slot will look a bit more oem than the other one

It just screws onto the back and I passed the GPS into my glove box

They start in red but if you go into the setting you can change it

The radio actually knows because it's connected to the computer in the car so you just need to plug the camera in and it'll know when it's in reverse. And the usb port is just if you want to use it for a usb to listen to songs off of or to charge your phone but it does charge kinda slow as it's mainly a data usb not a charger port so it doesn't receive much power

Cheers for reply. My van wasn't in use for a few days and woke up to my battery drained Ive seen people complaining about this in relation to the new units they install. Is this because I haven't hard wired it into the battery? I noticed from your video you haven't too. Looking for the unti to cut off when I take the keys out the ignition

Some units differ. My one is the older variant that's discontinued. If yours is draining the battery there is usually a cable that has a piece that joins in the middle. Look alone the back of the radio loom and see if any have a joint where it can be disconnected. Take it out and then try and that should fix the problem

Yeah this will work with your parking sensors

It should be the same to change the system over. If you want the parking sensor to work then you'll need parking sensors in the golf but other than that the normal satnav system should work in the golf

There should be an aux port on the arm rest it's on the outside like u could kinda say it's behind the handbrake. That's for the stock one if you have an aftermarket radio basically just plug the wires in and run the aux to wherever you want, I put mine in the glovebox, and use it from there

@@Fizzy.g nah i dont think mine is the aftermarket one cos the radio stereo is the RCD210 model but the car dont have an arm rest in the middle thats why i cant find the aux port

Is all what stuff in the head unit? And yeah it can work fully with Bluetooth you don't need to use the aux or USBs I only plugged them in because I'm going to use them

Oh yeah that just works exactly like a phone you just have to use your personal hotspot on your phone

Which screen is it? It's probably a connection at the back make sure nothing is loose

Check in the setting menu and also check the wires sometimes theres a wire with a connector in the middle of it.

I haven't got a user manual either. I am going to connect my reverse camera soon. From what I know you just plug it in and it works, it goes directly into the back of the radio

Yeah it's still fast. It only slows down when it's doing updates and you have like 5 apps open but for my I just have Spotify and maps open most of the time and its always responsive and yeah I just use a hotspot from my phone. I've left links for some in the description if you do want to buy one.

If it's the original radio that came with the car the car should eventually unlock the radio after a few mins if not I think you can get codes for it on eBay or maybe the manufacturer

It does have apple car play so if you use that then it should work without the gps antenna and if u do need to get one later they're only around £10. I put mine in the glovebox it's really simple just run it through that gap. And yeah the radio works with all the steering controls

Hiya... I'm delighted I have my new radio installed in My car now and it's perfect t.... I can't figure out how to hotspot off my phone for Google maps etc

Check the cables some radios require a wire to be unplugged for certain vehicles

Thanks it means alot and it does have pre installed maps but I would recommend using Google maps or Waze as they are much better than the stock map app. It has no SIM card slot I just use my hotspot from my phone and Yeah I could do a 3 month after review if you want. Just let me know which kind of things you'll like me to include in it

If you could do a vid on the most frequent used apps, and which parts of it you’ll never use. 3 months would be a good time period to get to know the kit, and gauge wether or not it’s worth it overall. There's an orange and red cable within the main loom it has a joint in the middle you'll want to disconnect that and make sure the canbus box is plugged in.

It will work with anything that's on the CANBUS of the car. So, at least in VW (and Skoda, and SEAT etc) anything that showed up on the old screen, will show up on the new one. This includes door status and parking sensors. If you have a different make, it depends on if your car uses CANBUS for parking sensors and such. Most do by the way. The same goes for steering wheel controls and the detection of you putting the car into reverse (for activation of the rear view camera and/or the parking sensors display). For factory fitted rear view camera's you'll need an adapter. The radio itself does support it - the adapter merely converts the signal to something that the radio can understand. If you don't already have a camera, you can add one that uses an RCA plug (yellow tulip plug - if you're over 30 years old you'll know them from hooking up older games consoles to TVs) as this is what the radio accepts. the radio will automatically show the camera's image when you put the car into reverse. One thing: DAB is optional on these units. The software is there, but you need an optional USB dongle to enable reception. Places that sell these AVISON radios usually also sell the dongles. They're not very expensive. Make sure you get one for the UK (if you're in the UK) or one for the EU (if you're in the EU) as they're different. You won't get all the channels if you pick the wrong one! If FM reception is bad, you can choose to add an optional FM booster that fits into the back of the radio. You'll need to take the radio out again to fit it though - so you might choose to pick one up just and install it just to be sure. It can't hurt of course and it's only about £20.

Hi. The launcher you change by just downloading nova launcher and then you can make it look like a normal android and the start up screen I changed from the settings i have an extra setting option that's password locked but in there I can change that

I can't remember but I might have it on my second radio install video it's a bit more recent. Basically at the back of the head unit it screws on and then I passed it through a gap in the back left at the bottom and got it into my glove box
