The Landcruiser build was what brought me to your channel. I’m glad you’re going to finish it, even if it’s not how you originally planned on doing it. Thanks for your honesty. We each have to stay true to ourselves.

Thanks for the great video. I have a 1970 and I am just starting on a restoration. I will be scouring your videos for the 1972 and this 1967 also. Thanks for posting them and for the info on this video

"The right decision for me" has a lot of depth to it. That's all that matters is what works best for you. I get that.

It's good to see Walter getting better, the sweetheart. 🥰🥰🥰

Similar story here. I bought my 77 in 2010 just wanting the truck to drive, but kept getting deeper into a restoration. I now have a chassis that is almost rolling with everything painted and new zinc plating. The body is pretty rough though and I can’t really do that kind of work. Even though your body work videos were inspiring I like your new approach and totally agree with it. When it’s complete you’ll have a truck with character and it’ll be mechanically sound. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Great Just great. The people down the hill had one but it was 1967 and I was 15. It was very cool. Then and now. Thanks!

Oh wow, I was wondering what happened. I had been going through your videos the past year or so as I was looking for a 40 of my own. Not having any experience wrenching, your videos provided a wealth of knowledge. I finally settled on a '68. In any case welcome back and thanks for all the videos!

Great to hear again from you. I love your complete restoration of the old landcruiser and I watch all the videos, I also understand your new approach for the Landcruiser restoration addicts like me, I will watch them all, thanks for the update

Great score! For me personally, combining the best of both trucks is definitely the right way to go. Hopefully, you'll be driving this very soon!!

I have a 1971 Karmann Ghia I’m working on. I used the Eastwood internal frame treatment on the chassis tunnel and the rocker panels/heater channels. On the rocker/heater panels I first treated it with some Ospho. I really liked the Eastwood product. It was very easy to use and seemed to do a great job. Use it and don’t worry about it, it will probably outlast us. Great channel and glad to see you back

Are you going to sell the other tub that you repaired,? Did you have issues putting the other tub back on the frame? Or did you never get that far along
@Jerod_Helt Жыл бұрын
I already sold the other tub. I put it back on the frame and sold it along with the rest of the 72 body and 67 drivetrain
@moneysaversilver Жыл бұрын
You could have bought a aluminum tub new

Praise Jesus! Back to FJ40 content! Good and sound decision… Hopefully you can sell off all the work. You’ve already done on the previous body and frame and maybe recoup some of your money back. It will be worth it to somebody who’s in much worse situation than you.
