these guys had the stages planned, and improvised the rest. it's no coincidence when masego hits the drum set or when fkj takes his keys solo, but within the stages it's improv. right off the bat fkj checks that the bass line works...if i had to bet, the guitar, bass, and sax melodies, along with the vocals, were set prior. don't wanna ruin the magic here, just explaining this musically. y'all need to check out some jazz fusion like Weather Report or Pieces of a Dream. Definitely one of my favorite instruments. I recently came across a street musician, that just played his soul out on the sax. Luckily I wasn't in a hurry, so I had the time to actually stop, listen and just drift away. Truely a beautiful moment, where it felt like everything just stopped.

heard this song when i was 9, with my dad legit playing drums with it at like 11pm. two weeks into this videos postings, my dad and I spent hours just putting this song on repeat, in the car, in the house, even at his job whenever he had to take me there. I'm 14 now, still being very happy this song is in the bright side of all social media, and in everyone's head. this song was great to begin with, forever will be. when Masego started singing, specifically (TADOW), my dad would joke around and sing my name in a nasaly tone, (LAYLAH), always made me smile, can still hear it a bit if you keep reading or saying the word when he says it.

I remember the first time I saw/ heard this in 2016. My jaw was dropped the entire time.
