Ok, the main elements of this are: 1. source sound (mic) 2. Crowd noises 3. Peak controller 1 (fast) 4. Peak controller 2 (slow) 5. Formula controller for subtracting Peak 1 from Peak 2. 6. Crowd noise output to speakers. What I would like you to do is follow the above numbers until you get to the point where you get no sound, contoller don't work, can't figure it out, etc. If possible, disable any suspect plugins if you think they are killing your sound. Then tell me where you are.

If your sound driver supports it you can just choose your microphone as an "input" for a mixer channel, and then record the voice using Edison or the disk icon at the bottom of that channel. You might need to use ASIO drivers.

Something went wrong, i followed every step (although sometimes it is hard to see where you click) but i don't have any sound when i play crowd of synth patterns. Once i switch off short and long decay the sound comes back.. what did i do wrong?
@AcePincter16 жыл бұрын
Try using ASIO sound drivers, or go into your "Audio settings" and decrease your "output latency"!

probably no more reason tuts. I will, however, do some music theory tutorials which will be useful to any software user.

ok so im making a mix and i want to make an intro for my mix series that im going to start putting out, i want the intro to be my dj name "Scragy" being screamed by a crowd. Similar to the intro on the song Kill the Noise by Kill the Noise. now im sure his was an actual crowd seeing as how he is a famous dj/producer and all. but im looking for how i can simply use a mic and my own voice to make it sound like hundreds or thousands of people are chanting. any help here buddy?
@AcePincter16 жыл бұрын
1. Play your song in headphones. 2. Make sure you are recording from Mic, and not Wave out. This is not an FL Setting! This is a windows sound settings property on the Recording page. Important!

Well I can't hear anything, but when I make a mp3 out of it it seems to work, cuz it's very much alike what the vids shows... I can't hear while I'm doing it in fl studio for some reason...

The "Circle of Fifths" or "Cycle of Fifths" It's a very useful tool showing the musical relationships between notes. (A different, more useful way to measure distance)
@AcePincter16 жыл бұрын
Yeah, pattern 2 is a screaming crowd, and pattern 3 is a laugh track. It's to demonstrate the versatility, not the realism.

All talk, no example of effect? [edit: its at 5:24]
@AcePincter5 жыл бұрын
It's in the video. at 5:24 The delayed peak formula is what brings up the volume of the crowd after I stop talking. That's all responsive to my voice, not automated. Honestly, there's really no way to use this, it's just a fun little trick.
