Thanks..this video just saved me. I have the same patio with the same cracks in the joints. I'm a first time home buyer and I only been living here for 6 months. I was thinking I'm going to have to pay a professional but after watching this I could do this myself..no problem!!

Hey, thanks for the video! I also repaired my flagstone patio with concrete. Overall I was happy with the result; but, I failed to use the wet sponge to prevent getting concrete on the stones. Your advice about making the concrete wetter allows it to be more workable is good advice. I have some fine cracks that I am thinking about applying dry concrete powder then wetting it in the cracks and maybe working it with a small brush such as a toothbrush. Blessings, Dennis Spurgeon.

After seeing all that you did, and how much work it entailed, I’m pretty sure that we’ll be forced to hire a mason or skilled handyman to do the work. I know it’s pricey, so we may have to wait a while. But thank you for showing what you did. Your project turned out great!

Thanks for your great tips! Seeing that you sifted out the stones from your concrete mix, I’m wondering if going with mortar would yield the same result…especially since you used a pretty wet mix.

Thank you for the video! I wanted to hire a company to do the repairs to my flagstone. Very similar to your repairs. They wanted to just replace the stone and charge me $12,000.00. I know it could be repaired and I will be repairing it myself. Thank you again.

So much time spent unnecessarily. Apply cement powder mix (no stones inside) as you would apply ground to the tiles. Raise it all the way up to the edge of the stone. Your work is mediocre and will open up again because the areas are not fully sealed and the water will do is thing again.
