I feel ministers should be more focused on what God has sent them to do in ministry, rather than trying to correct other ministers. There is a thin line btw correction and envy

They are always trying to publicly correct and not take time to intercede. They are always quick to use their platform to tear another down instead of grieving in the place of prayer. They seek their own glory and not God's.

While I agree that ministers should be focused on their assignment, we must also understand that one of the key duties of God's ministers is to earnestly contend for the faith (the same as other believrs). There were public debates on doctrines in scriptures, as well as rebukes as seen in scripture. If we keep mum about errors in doctrine which will eventually evolve into an error in living and lifestyle, the ministers will still be blamed. While corrections can also be done privately and should be done privately, it is also sound to raise an alarm publicly to prevent the error from further travelling and to secure the heart of the people. Everything shouldn't be judged from our own bias. The body shouldn't shy away from addressing errors because the sole purpose of the ministry gifts is the perfecting of the saints and the edifying of the body of Christ. That been said, all things should be done decently and in order and in love.

You're wrong on this note. We can correct each other in love. Even Paul corrected brother Peter. So when we see our brother erring, we must trust the Lord to correct them in Love. There is no envy in that. Is just the Bible. Open rebuke are better than secret love. I agree with Revr Tolu, although all these must be done in love as he rightly points out. God will help His Body

I must say, i appreciate the fact that u did dis publicly. It takes great courage. May God keep working on us all. But on the other note, if we reach out privately before correcting publicly, there wont be a need for offence or apology. My pain is that this apology may not trend as the glitch did. I believe if u spoke to him privately, he would have pull the video down as he did after hearing ur public correction. If he refused then u can correct publicly to prevent people from erring by it
