Flamingo project in fused glass part 1

This is part 1 of a 4 part project taking you through in detail from start to finish how to create a tropical flamingo scene with 2 flamingos, palm trees, an island with shrubs and flowers and the ripples in the ocean. All materials used will be listed below. Main materials are glass frit, glass powders, murrine, stringers, glass beads/dots and confetti glass. A fabulous step by step fused glass tutorial.

Hi 🙂 I just turned on your video and I accidentally pressed something that gave me the response, "We will share your feedback with this creator." I have no idea what I pressed or hit. The time this occurred was between 06:07am and 06:09am central standard time USA and, according to my international clock ⏰ app on my phone, the time in the UK is between 12:07pm and 12:09pm. I hope whatever I pressed does not negatively affect your channel! I love watching your videos! If I did happen to inadvertently cause a problem and I can deliberately give a solution, please let me know! Btw, you create some beautiful pieces in glass! I especially love the Scottish Wild Cat that you painted with enamels and layering medium! What an absolutely gorgeous piece! I wish you had shown it finished with the background! I am a silk painter, but I love 😍 stained glass! Being a Catholic since birth I've been surrounded by stained glass all of my life! I've done 1 piece and it's a "portrait" of one of my daughter's horses". Very fun, but I'm crappy at soldering, lol! 🙂 🙃 🙂

HI Denise, ah bless you. It will be the Dislike button you pressed. You can correct it by pressing the Like button which undoes it. Thank you for your honesty, but don't worry it won't impact us. love the video,question: what did you use to trace the design?

Thanks for watching. A Sharpie pen was used to trace the design. It will burn off in the kiln so you won't get left with any lines.

Hi Mellisa, not sure where in the world you are. We're UK based and we can get it from WarmGlass or the Creative Glass Guild to name a few. Google is your friend. Search for Powder Pro Plus P3 and locate a supplier near you wherever you are in the world. Check on the tips you get with it, they used to supply it with three tips, but now it's often just the one and you buy the others as a separate pack. Do you have the tack fuse schedule for this because you are using a striker powder. Thanku

We used the standard Warm Glass tack fuse schedule from their website Susan.

Hi Gwen, we purchased it from WarmGlass, but don't think they sell them currently You could try the Creative Glass Guild as they used to sell them. Not sure where in the world you are, so those suggestions may not be too helpful as they are both UK based.

@@teresaduncan1010 Hi Teresa you can get them from Warmglass in the UK. I don't know where in the world you are, so that mayn't help as Warmglass only ship within the UK. The item is called a coil actuator fine mesh sifter over here in the UK. I you are USA based then search for JC Line & Dot Sifter with Coil Actuator
