I mean this segment is indeed very useless as it doesn't help with the current debate at all, but it's not only about Biden, it's also about Lying Trump. Faux News would never show Lying Trump changing his mind for instance... This segment is useless as it doesn't answer any question,no one cares about what Biden thought 20 years ago, I changed my mind about a lot of things over the past 20 years too,it makes it look as if it's not a radical SCOTUS decision...and that's wrong.

I’m neither pro choice or pro life. I believe that every case has its own solution. It’s absolutely crazy to abort a baby at 8 months pregnant like one can in New Mexico but it’s also nuts to completely ban abortion. We need to find a middle ground where the fetus and the rights of women are protected

I get you, but at what point should it not be legal? For example, how can you be like “after this amount of time it is not allowed”. If your saying that, you’re basically saying that the fetus was not a life, and by proxy your also saying that it will never be a life no matter at what stage it is (Until it is born). I don’t think that just saying “It looks like a human” is a good argument.

As someone who has never heard Biden speak until the last few years, the claims from some of cognitive decline seem very credible. A very different man. Also, I’ve seen a few clips of Trump from this era and earlier where he seems a very different; more thoughtful and measured.

It’s such a tough call for this. I’m for My Body My Choice, but at the same time, you’re killing babies. My view would be to have it restricted and not just abort whenever you wish, have actual health reasons to abort, not when perfectly healthy and just say “screw the baby”.

Opposition to Roe started with Catholics and many of them Democrats. A number of Republicans picked up on it to flip some Catholic voters. Evangelical protestants embraced opposition to Roe later and over time it became the primary issue of the moral majority, which was a coalition of Evangelicals and conservative Catholics. Polarization than slowly pushed both parties toward conformity with pro life Democrats drifting toward embracing Roe like Biden and Bob Casey Jr. Likewise Republicans conformed around the pro life line or were pushed out in primaries.

Can you imagine the increase of foster care that these unwanted births will go into. Most teenagers having children , don't have the means to provide for a child , whether it is financially or mentally. Children may suffer if in fact these children never get adopted and go thru the foster care route. Will the government then help with the surge of children in a foster care situation?

I think alot of people miss the real issue... the real issue at the SC is not pro-choice vs pro-life but rather whether that decision is one for the federal govt to make or one that the states make.

Trump still has the same opinion from 1999. He's against the thought of abortions but will get behind woman being able to choose like reagan believed iff its for the health of the mother, R and Inc... hes never put a ban on abortions and never will. When he was president he could have put a federal ban on abortions but he didnt. Over turning Roe v wade allows the states to decide abortion laws, not for it to be a federal issue. Sounds like to me he doesnt want control over peoples lives for abortions but people say the opposite.

No, he chose country and doing the job over faith maybe. And it sounds like a hard and nuanced decision. He has to grapple with his faith and what the Constitution, something Trump never clearly struggled with.

If you guys really think about it… the world would be much better off if all the people who are crying for abortion rights were aborted by their parents.. so maybe we should support abortion and let the problem fix itself. People who don’t believe in abortions will grow up a child in a healthy household with good morals and values, and people for abortion will get as many abortions as they please and not bring up children who are confused about their genders and pronouns and which bathrooms they should use.
