With special thanks going out to friends Lisa and Wayne in Ontario for supplying me with these great videos from the early 2000s we see a bunch of SD60s and other trains that no longer run.

Hi Tony. This was a good flashback video and featured some awesome trains especially the mixed freights with many pieces of rolling stock now probably retired and gone. There was also several fallen flag roadnames too. Seeing Sudbury Junction and the beautiful VIA Canadian was also quite a treat. Excellent video Tony V. 😊👍

Wow those VIA trains haven't changed much in 20 years.

Other than a lot of re-tooling of the interiors, the outsides have remained un changed for decades

Those CV boxes take me back. I didn't rewind to be sure, but I don't think I saw a single DPU in any of those trains. Things have changed. Was looking for a CASE container but didn't see one.

Yeah, there’s some pretty interesting rolling stock on some of these trains, they did not use DPUs in eastern Canada 20 years ago yet

What does "Directional Running" mean?

Both CPKC and CN run close to each other through there so southbound trains all use the CN side and all northbound trains use the CPKC side
