The T800 in the first movie threw that girls boyfriend around the room like 5 times even though he had a handgun and could've just shot him in his sleep. This scene right here at least Arnie is tryna fight his programming so it's kind of a reason to why he's throwing him while telling him to run

Dark Fate: hold my chronology

I honestly liked Dark Fate, I feel it is the best of the sequels past T2 with T3 being a close second.

Dude, dark fate was terrible, it does everything all these "new gen" movies are doing. Formula: introduce new character(s) Reintroduce old characters, but make them without the values, principles, and/or attributes they followed in any previous films Reiterate the plot to fit the new character(s), so that it's the same, but also different story this time. Also, add a gallon of wokeness to please a crowd that doesn't care, nor the respect for the original(s). Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Men in Black, Ocean's series is up next, Charlie's Angels, Zombie Land, and now Terminator. It's not only in the movie industry, it's in video games too. Fuckin annoying.

Salvation was trash. It could have been really fucking good, had Christian Bale not had a massive meltdown and pressured the director to make him the main character instead of the far more interesting Marcus Wright. Salvation also made the mistake of having a PG-13 rating. Because of all the behind-the-scenes drama, Salvation ended up becoming an unfocused and mediocre action flick. This sucks, because I think Salvation has the best sound design and visual aesthetic of the series. Also, Anton Yelchin was the best Kyle Reese after Michael Biehn. But none of this means a thing if the script and direction are bad, which was the case. This might trigger you, but Dark Fate is better than Salvation simply because the direction was tighter and there were no restrictions on violence, nudity, or language. You can call me a fuckhead or a beta male retard, but I will never change my opinion of either Salvation or Dark Fate.

@@zrilloxragebringer2555 Ok lets go through this point by point- Reintroducing old characters- Linda and Arnie are both getting old so its a wonder we got to see them return to the franchise at all. Or do you prefer Emilia Clarke's Sarah? Make them without their principles in the previous film: Sarah's principles are almost exactly like they were in the first half of T2: she's badass, hates machines, and is a mess. And yes, unfortunately to bring her back to that state after the development she went through in T2 required the death of John. Redo the plot but with new characters: Sure, but in my opinion the plot added just enough twist and turns to keep it interesting. Granted it was no T2 compared to T1, but it wasnt like T3 which was a straight up rehash of T2 (aside from the ending). Wokeness- I understand why people don't like wokeness, but I think this movie more or less didn't shove it down our throat. For comparison- Ghostbusters 2016 and Star Wars TLJ are some movies that shoved wokeness down our throat. The only times during Dark Fate I felt wokeness got shoved down our throat was during the 'she's not Sarah, she's John' reveal for Dani, and when Dani attacks the battle damaged Rev 9 at the end. It's not perfect but those 2 individual scenes weren't bad enough to ruin the movie for me. T1 and 2 were based off of strong female protagonists and I think this movie continued that trend nicely.

It's extremely bad casting and character script. You could never imagine this guy being the resistance leader in a million years. But it's STILL not as bad as the completely forgettable Mexican girl in Dark Fate.

Yeah but they all were at least telling a chronological story about John. T1 was about John's mother before he was born, T2 was john as a child going through traumatic experiences that would shape his future, T3 was him as an adult running from his predetermined future for as long as he could, and T4 was john becoming a leader in the future war. Genesis is the only really bad one imo because they decided to rewrite everything and turn john into a villian. Corny af

Disagreed. T2 did it wrong. Indeed, in case you didn't notice Salvation was a direct (even if corrupted by this dimwit McG) sequel of Rise of the machines. Salvation existed because T3 had the balls to make jugement day happen. On the other hand, T2's ending forbade Salvation to happen. So T2 did it wrong!

Nooo. The paradox is actually so simple, I've seen fans doing better ''T3'' than these hollywood scripts. You can't send someone back in time to kill me and sit in front of me waiting for me to vanish out of thin air. It would just kill the other me from another time stream, while the present day one sitting in front of you (me) is safe and sound regardless. John only sent Kyle back in time because he got worried a terminator was traveling in time *first than anybody else*. Afraid of the machine's plan, Kyle volunteered and did time displacement. Really it sooo sounds like machine deception. Simply put, John existed even without Kyle's time travel. Skynet existed independently of future microchips from T1. The ''time travel'' only made things to go quicker and very messy. On my opinion, that's a suicidal mission from Skynet since John Connor's army won the original future war. Skynet has nothing to lose if so near death. So why not spread her ''computer virus'' on another computer called universe and another memory called time, and history? Creepy actually if you think about it. Sounds like machine victory to me.
