I never doubted the movie. I am a die hard Superman fan. Superman's intellect is actually far superior to Batman, but Snyder kept Clark very restrained in this movie. Batman did not look so brave when Superman no longer felt the punches by the Dark Knight. Let me say this : Ben Affleck was awesome in this movie. This movie gets better and better.

MarVal 911 what’s different with the ultimate edition

ws x 30 mins of additional footage basically it’s the directors cut it’s what Zach shot but WB ordered the runtime to be cut down so they removed 30 minutes worth of footage and thas ultimately one of the biggest factors for the movie to get a bad rating ultimate edition makes sense everythingfits and its smooth

Justice League was supposed to one up this movie,wtf happened? WB really dropped the ball. They should have pulled back on the movie date and perfected everything,JL was too rushed. Giving Snyder a break to mourn then come back and make a super dope movie in his daughter's honor would have made sense. Sure,they would have lost some money, but everything would have been recouped with a better movie imo

Batman is the darkest character ever and seeing as doomsday is in it that makes it even darker and the movie takes place in dark knight returns and the death of superman both comic books are dark in their own way.

Totally agree with you. MoS and BvS were the first two films in a planned five film franchise that would’ve shown Superman’s growth into the character we all remember from the comics. The Boy Scout in tights. I look at Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey as the true expansions of that five film franchise. Wonder Woman, I don’t know if it was a part of that five film franchise or not, but it was a nice edition, but when I compare it to MoS and BvS, those two trump Wonder Woman in every way.

@@nautica2784 the ultimate editon? It is about 3 hours long but I this movie was very entertaining for me. It doesn’t add as much as Zack snyders justice league did to the theatrical justice league, but it does add some needed and entertaining scenes that I have heard the original BVS didn’t have. I didn’t see a massive problem with the original BVS but it weren’t amazing or something that I would’ve watched again. But this ultimate cut is one of my favourite superhero movies to date and works so much better with the snyderverse. I’ve heard that the old movie didn’t make much sense (I didn’t really notice) but this movie has explained it all. I highly recommend watching but just know that it is basically just deleted scenes added to the movie and it follows the same plot so not much will be changed for the storyline of the DCEU or anything. 9/10

I swear, i like this movie more every time i watch it, even though i didn't like the theatrical cut, i'm enjoying the hell out of the Ultimate. And every scene has a deep meaning, you just have to think about it, it's not you regular Disney movie that you watch just to have a good time. And the fact that it took me a long time to actually say that this is one of my favourite comic book movies ever goes a long way in telling how deep it actually is. And to me this is art, it has much talent, it has a moral that the movie wants to teach and it makes you think. Doesn't matter if it's made to make money, everything after all it's made to make money. But i think that this movie, without Justice League and Man of Steel has little sense, it's very intertwined with the others each of them completes the others.

Actually if you look at the audience reviews it’s actually a majority that liked it. Yeah the theatrical cut kinda sucked a bit but the UE was perfect. I give it a 9/10 only because the BvS fight wasn’t as good as i hoped.

Cartman4wesome the BvS fight was great but it was also really slow. Granted most of the fight was done on set with actual bulky costumes so the only way to make it more fast paced would be to animate it
