I think what makes this scene even more impactful is the fact that Neytiri doesn’t know what a lie is. The word “lie” isn’t even in their language

damn her acting is so real, I just cant emphasize how lifelike it is. Her anger, confusion, and betrayal + the fact that the actors have to imagine everything because the film is done in cgi. Just wow. She is the only person that should ever play Neytiri

Last night I watched this movie for the first time because the second one is coming out soon. Boy I missed in college. I was highly doubted this morning. This scene got me good m, tears came down my eyes. Tears still came down even while watching this now.

Well Neytiri knew that Jake was an Avatar by the way he was dressed the first time she met him in the rainforest. But did Neytiri actually not know that Jake was an Avatar and not a real Na’vi until Jake told the truth to the Na’vi that he came to learn the ways of the Na’vi and he knew the RDA was going to destroy their land because he was a human?

but not his intentions. they were willing to help the Avatar humans to learn their ways to basically cooperate or offer a peaceful way of living together the sky people/humans instead of immediate war. but jake was deliberately sent to deceive them which he told them nothing about until this moment. they thought he was a human who wanted to join them and learn their ways and basically keep things peaceful between them or simply joining the navi because he is actually interested in it and not using it as a strategy.
