The original scene feels a bit empty, it's like "let's put paint on you and that's it ! you're a member of the tribe" Here we have a real challenge, it feel so much more deserved at the end Just, the part with the vision of the future events should not be included, but all the psychedelic stuff should, as well as all the dialogue which bring so much good lore, like the fact they don't have a word for lie I hope they just kept it for one of the next movies

its also showing melted skin flesh and shot of the grotesque version of turok eating and killing Jake and melted earth and burninged trees, too much is R rated!!!

this entirety scene would have the film made R and it would no IS wayy too terrifying for a pg13, as his first trip is seeing his and the others melted flesh, and is too gross and too scary for me to watch BUT it IS NEEDED for Jakes development into the navi and why hes so adiment to stay with Netyri and be one of the people!!!!!!

its too disrbing and gross for pg13 and is R which is why they deleted it thats the reason why it WAS TO be included but because James felt that the scene is too nightmare inducing for audiences it was left off theatrical to secure pg13 yet film is too violent and sometimes too risque for pg13 and would have already justified its R and this is needed for development with Grace and Jake and Netyri and necessary as his actuall "one more thing" being the dreamhunt THEN the ceremony and his acceptance into the clan! THATS!

@@SB992REBORN I think this scene was deleted because it would be disturbing to some audience members and kids. So, the director probably didn't want to influence children for drug use, so this scene was cut.

If I were in Jake's position, with his change of heart, I'd ask the Chief, by all means defend the hometree with your lives - but at the very least evacuate the women and children.

@@supercoolmunkee definitely I don’t think they wanted to risk an R rating since there is death, alluding to sex, and cussing already in the movie. I think drug use of a scheduled 1 drug in the real world like psychedelics might definitely make it R rated
