This would be a great car for you Archie. There's so much you can do to modify it for better performance, including suspension, brakes, and engine...without breaking the bank or risking blowing it up. The 570 is a great car but it's more prone to failures by a country mile. If you want a great all-arounder, IMO...this is it.

I'd personally have the GT-R over the 570, still has serious presence. Love the look of them. I think the McLaren would be more of an on edge adrenaline pump though

If it was my money I'd be in a r8. But I won't lie out of those two I would go the 570. Drove one a few years back and was so amazing how great a car they are. Even with McLaren reliablility. But I would try get a mso edition. I just think they look more purposeful

I think it has to be the GTR, the McLaren is faster and more of a supercar, but, if you have a McLaren you always have that worry if when you go to drive it it starts or not? Plus you can daily the GTR and I bet it’s better built too. I think the GTR looks better too.

Definitely the gtr and a trip to dms for a remap 680 bhp 870nm , took my c63 amg to dms stage 1 dynoed at 617 bhp and 857 nm , drives so much nicer and a rocket ship aswell 👍

Man the GT-R is superb, and i has quite the tuning potential.

Cars for myself at that budget would be - 991 GT3, although the 3.8 with the engine issues. R8 (you have done that), push the budget for a Huracan (you have done that) or 458 or Ferrari FF, I would probably take the Ferrari FF. As you have said there really isn't great choice. A friend of mine had a GTR for a short while and sold it as he couldn't live with the harsh ride so that would put me off a little but if it gives you the right feelings, handling and makes sense just do it

The GTR would be a blast as a summer car. For a winter project, I suspect it would become quite tiresome sliding about all over the place trying to plant you in a ditch! For this money I'd be much more inclined towards a McLaren 650S than the 570. Alternatively, a nice 718 Spyder would be a blast, but is it supercar enough for you?

Buy a rentech tuning dongle,makes a massive difference,approx 3k,worth every penny.

Additionally, having run both GT3 (996) and R8 V10 Plus (Mk1)I would take the Mercedes (and did). It has something but you need to use it on track as well I think because when in decent weather the front end will astonish you as will the Cup 2's and brakes.
