I started the day skating flat, and decided in the middle to switch to anti rocker with Juice Blocks. They both have their benefits, depending on what sort of session you're having. Me personally? I think Flat for skating, anti for grinding.

I came back to blading after 15 years. We need more Channels like yours, just to make Inline Skating (Rollerblaing?!?) more popular. It doesn't matter if you are a pro or a beginner, as long as you make good content for people who are interested in this sport. I also thought about making my own Channel, we will see xD Keep on the good work. Greetings from Germany ;)

just ordered a new set of skates for the first time in 20 years. It's been about 15 since I last skated but as I get older and more frumpy, I needed to be out and more active. I just would like to say thank you, because your channel was the motivation point to try and pick this back up. I went to try on my old USD Thrones and nearly broke my foot trying fit into the glass slipper, so today was a good $300 well spent lol

I’m also excited to see the tutorials. I watch a lot of the more experienced bladers here in Toronto and I make sure to mentally jot down what I like and what’s useful and see if I can use these tips in my own. I would like to be able to do the same with your tutorials. As for slipping out, although I have yet to land a royale, I only have ever slipped out with me sitting down or me on my side in my Valo. I guess it’s a solid groove if many agree on such a thing.
@BacktoBlading

I think Valo were pretty solid for royales. Something about the soul plate made them very easy. I have the same feeling in these Them, with a little less bending required.

I haven’t given up on my Konjures. Tried them on my 908s and they stuck on royales. I feel like they should be a round profile instead of flat. With a round or bullet profile, you would get less wheel bite. I also think that for standard frames that aren’t directly designed to ride flat, 58mm are just a little too big. They’re kind of in a weird middle ground where they’re almost too big for flat on standard frames, and too hard to ride antirocker. I’ve tried them on Youth and Create Originals so far. Both frames were previously skated anti at parks only so they weren’t really ground down. That being said, having them on new frames from the get go is ideal
@BacktoBlading
@BacktoBlading 6 жыл бұрын
I agree, I think the profile has a lot to do with it. I'm really interested in some 56s. Probably best of both worlds.
@barneyruckus
@barneyruckus 6 жыл бұрын
Back to Blading 56s would be nice, and they wouldn’t have to be round profiles. Of course there are frames dedicated for riding flat, but I think that even with those specialty frames, these don’t quite fit. The only current frames that these wheels might be ideal for are probably Slimline 2s or Kaltiks, unless I’m missing something.

Back to Blading I just like the idea of more room to grind so I can grind bigger rails and ledges without worrying too much about wheel bite
@hotaruasmaria7504
@hotaruasmaria7504 4 жыл бұрын
I know year off.. but I always felt the same. Tried antirockers and can't do flat if that's the four wheel with groove. I do a lot of street as our park is only three ramps in a row and just way to small for the seven or so skateboarders alone to offer space for more people. Always felt if it wasn't for freestyle frames I wouldn't be able to grind the concrete ledges and brick that I am able to with freestyle. Maybe a loss of speed is the biggest issue.

Is it easier to learn inline skating fundamentals in flat or anti-rocker? I've been learning to skate on anti-rocker but I feel like flat would be more forgiving with learning how to carve, am I wrong?

The only downside to two wheels is they will wear out faster since you have only two wheels and also less stability so don't go fast downhill on two wheels. It may not be pretty.
