Drove a few of these in the late 70s and early 80s mainly the 74 GT models, one in Canada GT 2.0 and one in HK with highly modified and had been raced in Macau car. I drove the racer in Tai Mo Shan to Kwai Chung to go to work and back. The exhaust side pipe, was loud. Car was lowered with roll cage and stiff. When I drove in Kwai Chung, the exhaust was so loud and everyone looked at the car.

我對1979 Celica 最有情懷 3 speed auto no overdrive,my first car in Canada, poor student couldn’t afford better car in 90’s.

I was poor student in canada too. My roommate had a 74 GT brand new at that time. I loved that car. However, the king of the hill was Pontiac TransAm and Chevy Camaro at that time.

I also own a Toyota Celica 1600GT. It is a 1:64 model.
