Hi C.A. I guess you really need to set that big hook hard ?? I normally use a MH fast action rod with the chatterbait but I have lost a couple of big redfish when I got them close to the boat. I am lucky enough to be able to fish the lower Suwannee area regularly. Thanks for the great video, I love to rewatch this one on occasion.

I have also jigged a chatterbait for flounder here in NC when the water is especially stained. Works great.

This truly is a great way to fish. I normally set my wife up with this combo when I am throwing mirrodines and what not and she a lot of times out fishes me.
